thanks sallymay...

pretty disappointed about losing Mann but overall Storm have been brilliant retaining as many players as they have over the last 8 - 9 years given that cam billy and cooper probably consume nearly 30% of the salary cap themselves

I was working on about $1.8 million...average of $600k each out of $5.5m...but yeah....could be as much as $2.4m - $2.6m out of $5.5m

I miss the days when I heard whispers of the Storm signing players. Doesn't seem to be happening anymore.

Inglis#3 that's because we hardly sign players during the period everyone one else does, we sign players from Qld Cup or pick up someone around / after Christmas like we did with Finucane or promote 5 players from Under 20s late in season.

Which isn't going to work anymore. Come on, our recruitment has been below ordinary recently. Why we didn't snap Paul Carter up knowing that Hinchy is moving on is beyond me.

The only player I no that we have made a offer to is John Bateman a 21yr old lock 2nd rower from Wigan, but apparently the offer we have made him isn't as lucrative as other nrl clubs. I hope they up there bid now hinchy is gone, but I doubt it
