Seen a pic of lagi on his mission...pre seasons gonna hurt

I was just reading that no player has ever gone away on a Mormon mission and then returned to play any good in the NRL. Hope Setu is the exception

Good signing is Lagi, I thought his brother coming here was a strategic move.

Best form was at prop

Very pleased about the signing of Lagi Setu. If he manages to get a very good offseason under his belt then he'll be a real weapon for us coming off the bench as an impact player - a role where he did a formidable job whilst at Brisbane.

I'm really excited about next season now. We've got potential breakout players that won't be on much coin at all. We've only signed them of one year deals which will keep them on their toes knoing they'll have to perform.

Was thinking what I'd want our full strength 100% team to be. I really wanna see some more youth come through the forward pack.

1.Slater
2. Waqa ( Honestly think he has done an enormous job for us so he deserves being 1st choice)
3. Chambers
4. O'Neil
5. Fonua (Duffie is tough to cut but I think overall Mahe is the better fit for us)
6. Widdop
7.Cronk
8. Bromwich
9.Smith
10. Ryles
11. Hoffman
12. Proctor
13. Horo ????
14. Hinchcliffe
15. Moors
16. Garbutt
17. Bromwich/Harris

Also I think Glasby will give it a real shake. Watched him a few times this season and looks like he could become one of Craigs new pets.

The team that I believe should take the field in round next season is as follows. Mahe Fonua warrants a spot on the wing more than Duffie I believe because he's potentially better in the air, he's proved to have less flaws in his defensive game than Duffie and Mahe is undoubtedly a better ball runner than the Kiwi flyer.

I would be inclined to start Horo off the bench rather than at lock forward if we have indeed acquired his services. Horo played various positions while at Parramatta and he's got more impact than Hinchy who I believe plays his best-football when starting in the lock position. Not to mention Hinchy deserves a starting spot for showing so much loyalty to the club when he knocked back a lucrative offer from our rival club, Parramatta.

The rest of the side is reasonably self explanatory.

1. Billy Slater
2. Sisa Waqa
3. Will Chambers
4. Justin O'Neil
5. Mahe Fonua
6. Gareth Widdop
7. Cooper Cronk
8. Jesse Bromwich
9. Cameron Smith
10. Jason Ryles
11. Kevin Proctor
12. Ryan Hoffman
13. Ryan Hinchcliffe

14. Justin Horo
15. Junior Moors
16. Siosaia Vave
17. Tohu Harris

Junior Moors signing means @MelbStormRLC have ceased negotiations with Justin Horo. He'll have find another club. Maybe @manlyseaeagles?
