Chad Townsend from Cronulla is off contract at the end of the year. I reckon he would be a great fit in the #6 jersey and is a very underrated player and a good goal kicker as well.

WHY THE HELL do people keep throwing up needle jabbers & rejects from 'other teams' & claiming they should be our new 6 in 2014.
WE HAVE PEOPLE BEING UN-USED NOW from within the club that fill that spot

The best and cheapest option is playing for our feeder team atm. The names Ben Hampton

I watched the Sharks game on the weekend and didn't find anything overly spectacular with Chad. Finchy runs the show in that team

No disrespect mattystorm but I didn't think that many peeps round here had actually ever "ruled him in".mattystorm1987 wrote:well we can rule chad townsend out, his tipped to sign with dragons or warriors next week..
The overwhelming consensus of some pretty knowledgeable peeps on this Board is that McGahan and Hampton are the real deal for Storm's halves future

Luke Kelly back to Storm? Looks like the Eels might let him go.
To be fair though blaz Norrie, Lowe, Fa'aoso and Waqa couldn't get a game at their previous clubs and are premiership winners. We all know it's Bellyache's specialty and is the best in the business turning discards from other clubs into solid first graders. That said i agree that we should look within our current squad and Hampton is definitely right up there.
