Ah it was Smith who fumbled then forced the line drop out, didn't even see Slater in shot at the time.Thunderstruck wrote:Cowboys drag Hoffy to touch, 2:40 to go.
Cowboys looking dangerous 10 out from Storm line, Slater fumbles really badly and nearly gifted another try to the Cowboys. Drop out Storm.
Should be a good second half if you can control the ball.

Excellent 20 minutes by the Cowboys who dominated just about every play and scoring 18 points in 18 minutes but as soon as Inglis switched on, it was mostly Storm in the second 20 minutes with set plays resulting in 12 points and 2 missed opportunities no thanks to Matt Sing who's playing at his best defusing Orford's kicks.
Good game overall by Orford so far and Scott Hill in a supporting role. Cam Smith is playing well but the star for the Storm is definitely Inglis. His line break provided the spark needed by the Storm to power through and return some confidence to salvage the first half.

Just saw Bellamy laying down the law to the boys. Whatever he's saying, I hope it helps us to pick things up in the 2nd half. I'm sure it will
BTW Manly 24 Canberra 6 at half time

Using that emoticon froze the other computer!
Then somebody came along and expected me to do a bit of work.
The cheek!

Heh, yeah I guess. I only took a glance at that play and was going by the commentators. They said something about Slater and thought it was him.Christabella wrote:Ah it was Smith who fumbled then forced the line drop out, didn't even see Slater in shot at the time.Thunderstruck wrote:Cowboys drag Hoffy to touch, 2:40 to go.

2nd half is underway.
Cowboys first posession.
Mander stops play for some reason.

Penalty to Storm, not sure why, something to do with Carl Webb.

DENNIS SCOTT GOES THROUGH!!
Excellent no-look pass from Kidwell for Scott to slice through the Cowboys who were unprepared.
Webb apparently tried to throw punches after being tackled.
Smith converts, 20-18

He punched someone after he had been tackled and was in possession of the ball, I think we both need widescreen tvs because I couldn't see it either.Thunderstruck wrote:Penalty to Storm, not sure why, something to do with Carl Webb.

Slater almost through a gap but he lost the ball as Cowboys players were hanging off his leg.
Halfway line.

White and Scott smashed each others heads and are down on the ground.
Scott has a cut on his head while White is just dazed.
Webb tried to take advantage of the situation by running straight to Scott and White as play continues but he got smashed instead

Hahaha yeah well after his first howler which conceeded to a try I thought it was a bit harsh to blame him for something when he was nowhere near the ball. The only thing he could be held responsible for was not being in position for the kick and leaving his hooker to clean up.clock off wrote:Let's not be pedantic.Thunderstruck wrote:Heh, yeah I guess.
