Oh ok you seem to be in the know. Very unfortunate I'm going to have to avoid asking him.
I'm really dissapointed it didn't work out.
"Better to have Won then Lost, than to have never won at all" Arrogant, but true hahahaha

Damien Sironen (nephew of), 19 next year, big-bopper, will strengthen the NYC pack considerably.

Apparently we have Signed Matt McGahan son of Hugh from MAGs in NZ. He was NZ schools first five this year and turns 18 next year so is eligible for SG Ball next year. Should find out some other nz signings over the next week as they decide League or Rugby.

Storm recruitment manager Darren Bell has been told not to sign anyone to the scholarship program, including a couple of gun youngsters he had in his sights.

One was the New Zealand Schoolboys five-eighth, but Bell was confident he would still get them on board.

Must have been who Bell was talking about in this article. Must have a good kicking and passing game if he's the 5/8 for onion schoolboys team. Look forward to watching him next year

4. Some Avuaa
5. Eddie F.
6. Matt McGahan
7. Ben Hampton

8. Jorden Mclean
9. Matt Smith
10. Damian Sironen
11. Tohu Harris
12. Slade Griffen

Tentative NYC Squad so far.

Forwards
John Leiataua*
Ken Bromwich
Slade Griffen
Tohu Harris
Damian Sironen*
Brett Jarrett
Jorden Maclean
Jarome Wilson
Robert Macleod*
Jordan White*

Dummy-halves
Matt Smith
Lucas Grech

Halves
Matt Mcgahan*
Ben Hampton

Outside Backs
Kirisome Avuaa
Eddie Faamusili

Hey fellow Storm supporters :)
I'm completing a major assignment for uni, in my last semester, and would love it if you could take literally 5 minutes out of your day/night to complete this survey. It may actually interest you too! Many thanks in advance =)
Go Storm 2011!

Yeah Matt Mcgahan is a first-five from MAGS.
He played NZ schoolboys Rugby couple of weekends ago.
One a national championship

Not sure how we will convert to league though.

I believe Storm have also signed Cade Umaga - Son of former All black Tana.
Cade plays for Wellington U/17s?? and recently made the NZ Merit Team for U/17s.

Havent seen him play but heard some good things.
Storm have good recruitment / scouts without a doubt.

And despite the debarcle this year they obviously still have a good brand for up and coming players.

However I notice Time Nikau (Son of tawera) trialling for Warriors NYC.
He got good physique - big, tall and fast and could handle step up to NYC.
Not sure why he didn get run in melbourne.

They have a heavy presence in Wellington / Taranaki area and have signed up some of the regions best.

Isaac robinson, pride petersen etc.

Such as.
Isaac Robinson - from Taranaki made NZ 17,s & NZ Maori 17s and is a gun outside back could play SG Ball next year or just come over for 20 in 2012.

They also signed Redeem Sagatopule??? from Manurewa - Redeem played Aucklandd 16s last year and made NZ 16s merit team.
Gun centre.
Post by some-one on LU throwing up a couple of names we havent heard of.

Confirms Issac Robinson, who had a very good National Champs, dont know if thats 100% though

Thanks for posting that. MMM is usually right with his info, I think the centre is Redeem Saleupolu but can't seem to find anything on him playing this year it's all about last year.

From article on Isaac Robinson 9th October.
Robinson plans to remain at school next year and complete year 13 before deciding on what happens post school. That may mean heading to Australia.
