Somewhere near the beginning they mentioned exactly that. I don't fully remember hearing it as I too busy grumbling about how I want to see more footy and less wags bullshit.
My wife heard it and commented about it. Obviously she wasn't listening to my whinging either.

I thought Dally M points are still given in an Origin game as long as your club is playing that week and does not have the bye. I.e - You are eligible for Dally M points in an Origin game if you are forced to sit out an NRL game due to Origin. Not the case?

Otherwise Origin players are potentially 9 points disadvantaged to non-Origin players.
Not from my understanding. Happy to be proven wrong though.

yourhero is correct, Dally M points are awarded for Origin games.
