I read Sheldon Pitama was selected in the back row for the u/18 kiwis who beat the assrl team today.
Has played 7&9 the past few years so obviously has plenty of size and skill

I just want a coach who develops thee kids to be the best plan s they can be. None of this "your the 6 so you can only play on this side rubbish" or how about teaching a backrower that its OK to pass well before the line to give your center room to work some magic.Fizer wrote:With the news Anthony Seibold is now the Development Coach we are looking for a new u20s coach, Which I think is a good thing I saw no real game plans this year. Hopefully we go with a coach who is a bit more attack orientated.
Ben Nakubuwai - SG Ball. Prop or second row.
http://www.irrigator.com.au/story/18110 ... nes-radar/EMERGING footballer Ben Nakubuwai is about to start on a dream journey after being signed by NRL club Melbourne Storm. Nakubuwai, 17, has been on the Storm's "must have" list for a couple of years and will be a member of the club's SG Ball Cup under 18s squad.
While he is contracted for the SG Ball Cup, strong performances by Nakubuwai could see him transition to the Melbourne under 20s.
Suliasi Vunivalu - Winger/Centre. St Kents in Auckland on a scholarship from Fiji. He is a superstar. Will be great on the wing or at Centre next year. Can't wait to see him play.

Article about Sheldon Pitama. Should start the year in SG Ball but could debut in the 20s later in the year.

Good news three of our players made the NZ u17 merit team. Jordan Pinnock made it on the bench, Joseph Apikotoa one of the starting props and Sheldon Pitama as staring Hooker.

Another player for our SG Ball side George House from Canberra. He is a five eight.
Video of him in action. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j2GGpWaiUSMCongratulations to George House for signing with the Melbourne Storm. George will continue his schooling at Erindale College for 2014 but will fly between Canberra and Melbourne to play for the storm. He will begin playing in the SG Ball side with goals of playing u20’s next season. Another goal for George is to make the Australian Schoolboys Rugby League side. A local talent of the Woden Rams, it is an awesome achievement for George, his family and the Rugby League program here at Erindale College.

Cheers for posting that. Interesting prospect. I can't really take much away from the highlights I've seen because he's twice the size of the opposition and just little snippets show that he uses that far too often, a few technical flaws. Be interesting to see how he goes against actual men.Fizer wrote:Nelson Asofa-Solomona interview on TV1 in NZ.

Article about being in Wellington last weekend for our annual camp. And confirmation that we have signed TJ Va'a for next year.
