Sisa moved to the left edge. Interesting.

Finch hooked after some rubbish defence. I don't mind Tohu on the edge so I feel a little safer.

Getting absolutely caned in the penalties.

Edit. Finch pulled due to a shoulder injury.

I thought something was wrong with him....he kind of just watched as their weiner ran past him at one point. (obviously meant to read 'winger', but I liked the auto correct error so much it stays)

The boys have done one thing that no other team has been able to do....and that's to play Dave Taylor into some form!

edit- pathetic start......though sisa did make up for it

I can't believe that just happened.....I find it even harder to believe they disallowed it - try every day of the week. The last 20 had been excellent until that - also, someone please put that glue spray stuff on Sisa's hands

edit - Billy?? Are you kidding me??!?!?!?!?

Not the form I was hoping for heading into the finals. We're trying to do way too much in attack and we're getting lazy defending.

Top 4 finish so I'm proud of the boys efforts.

Titans were very good so I'm glad we managed to repel them and sneak away with a tight victory. That match was played at finals intensity so that could be a positive. I guess only time will tell.

I think Finch may have played his last match if Widdop gets through tomorrow's match with no issues.

A win is a win - definitely patches of the familiar storm....but also patches of a wooden spoon contender. Intensity needs to stay high for the whole game next week, and thereafter - the title defence proper, starts now!

I was at least happy to see some strong defence. We got numbers into tackles and drove back the Titans forwards and during the first 20mins our line speed was outstanding.

Better than last week but we need to be MUCH better next week if we have serious ambitions of going back to back.

Finals week 1 is almost a must win.

Cronk was outstanding. Wrapped up the Dally M right there.

We got very lucky with Slater's second try. Cronk had no right to get a kick away with the pressure he was under but did so with complete precision. His kicking game was phenomenal when you consider how often he was under pressure from Titans defenders.

Side note - Did Shayne Hayne and his boyfriend (with the worst haircut in refereeing history) want to keep the Titans line honest AT ALL!?? They jumped early almost every set to pressure Cronk.
