Both teams round two loss, the only loss this year (so far).

Surprisingly both our feeder teams lost this weekend, after each scored the first two tries of their games. Pleasingly both Jeremy Hawkins and Jake Turpin played after some weeks out and, if the QRL website is correct, both played out the game. I appreciate neither is in line for senior selection, but it is good to see so many of our lads on the park.

The way Hughes, Croft and Smith are playing by all reports has me actually looking forward for once to some games without the big three.

This weekend Falcons won and Easts lost .

Only seven Storm players played - Drinkwater, Hawkins, Leuluai ( good to see him playing ), Nichols ('which possibly foreshadows that he will make way for Jesse B next week) , Britt , Kamikamica and Brandon Smith ( who came off at half time - presumably to allow him to rest up in case required to replace Cam on Friday night ).

Croft I assume was rested ahead of possible game on Friday night.

Ryley Jacks also did not play, and he of course is the logical replacement for Cronk if Coop does not come up for a second game in 48 hours.

That Easts game annoyed me so much....seriously if Dean Britt wants to play NRL he has to hold the ball and stop trying to be a HB 5/8 when he clearly isn't ...
And too many penaltys
