Corey Parker out of Origin II with facial injury. Dave Taylor has reportedly received applause at Titans training. Hopefully that means he is in Qld side and won't be playing for Titans against us.

Gee we havent had an opportunity like this to win an Origin affected game in a long time. If our forward pack stands up this week I think we've got a big chance.

What has happened to our offloads in recent weeks? The two weeks before Origin we had 19 and 20 respectively... The last two weeks, we have had 5 and 8.

Playing against a full strength Roosters side you would have thought we would have chanced our arm a little more.

Anyway, hopefully the forwards can dominate this week and we see a bit more second phase play.

No disrespect to Munster and he didn't do much wrong in his only game, but I would like to see Mann drop back to fullback for this game. I think he looked more composed, and threatening with the ball.

Would like Bellyache to bring Hunt into ther team (presumed centre specialist), which will also limit any damage of too much change.

Mclean in for Glasby & I think that will help our chances of winning. To be fair - Mclean is probably our #2 Prop behind Jesse... so i think it's a given he plays.

I like Romelo on the bench, considering the Titans have picked a relatively small bench at this stage (understand this may change)...

Come on the Storm!!! Good luck boys :-D

Paul Carter stood down indefinitely for the Titans. Things getting a bit easier by the day.

The Titans have just lost Paul Carter too. Stood down for drink driving.

I think we're going to have a strange team this week. Bellamy didn't look to have any idea yet on who will be even available to play. Mentioned not only origin interruption but also brought up the 2nd tier salary cap will come into play on who is available and who isn't. Not sure who that implies too, so I wonder if we'll even have 17 available haha.

As I understand it, our top 25 is:

J.Bromwich - IN
K.Bromwich -IN
Chambers - Origin
Cronk - Injured
Duffie - Injured
Fonua - IN
Garbutt - Injured
Glasby - IN
Griffin - Injured
Hampton - IN
Harris - IN
Hinchcliffe - IN
Hoffman - Origin
McLean - IN
Moors - IN
Norrie - IN
O'Neill - Injured
Proctor - IN
Robinson - IN
Rose - IN
Slater - Injured
Smith - Origin
Tonumaipeia - IN
Waqa - IN
Weston - Injured

Rest of the squad:

Hunt - POSSIBLE
Kaufusi - POSSIBLE
Kennar - Injured
Mann - POSSIBLE
Munster - POSSIBLE
Roberts - POSSIBLE
Romelo - POSSIBLE
Walker - Injured

So, based on that and the above comment about the second tier cap, I guess we might have to be:

1.Mann
2.Waqa
3.Fonua
4.Robinson
5.Tonumaipeia
6.Hampton
7.Roberts
8.J.Bromwich
9.Hinchcliffe (c)
10.Norrie
11.Proctor
12.Harris
13.K.Bromwich

14.McLean
15.Glasby
16.Moors
17.Rose

Kaufusi should be a definite starter after his recent performances in QLD Cup. Unleash the beast, Bellyache.

I've based my team on who is in the top 25, the only way I could see Kaufusi playing is if we play Young at Fullback, Robinson on the wing and Harris in the centres, leaving out Mann, or put Harris and Hamtpon in the halves and leave out Roberts

That is, of course, as long as we MUST play those in the top 25.

I'll play for free if they can't field 17 :) I don't think i'd be welcome back here after the game though......

i'd say one half and one outside back will be permitted as we have 10 fit forwards, 1 fit half and 4 fit outside backs from our top 25
