Well, that's a much better half, but the roosters might have flattered us a bit

Man Olam just looks like a totally different player. It’s quite sad tbh.

Decent win… but the Roosters are miles off what they’ve been in recent years…

Scramble defence did enough and Attack better in 2nd half…

Agree - was it the right arm he broke? He can’t tackle anyone who steps to the inside

MacDonald always lands on his front for the quick play the ball, you watch him, he's fantastic

Second half better.

A couple of seriously nit-picky penalties to give the Roosters field position in the last 10 minutes.

Olam needs to go, that isn’t even a debate anymore. Seve Jennings or Warbrick to centre if CB is fair dinkum.

We need to still make some big calls about some of these players that are underperforming, can we win a comp with some of these guys in the squad? Paps, Sua, Jennings, Seve, Katoa etc are all great options. We need to get the chemistry right and unfortunately what we are running lately isn’t looking fluid and capable of going all the way, not saying I have all the answers but surely Bellamy knows we aren’t playing at the level required with this current set up to win Grand Finals.

Was impressed with Coates tonight, Hughes was better in the 2nd half, King was in everything, Macca has more heart than anyone, Grant my MOTM he is so valuable he looks a bit tired but keeps showing up. Onwards and upwards we have 7 weeks to get the formula right.

He’s a total monster. He has to be in the 17 every week.

Definately a better half compared to the first.
Atkins is a flog

Olam

Tackles made: 4
Tackles missed: 5

Is this the first time in history a guy has missed more tackles than he has made in a game? Wow.

I hope a top 4 position doesn't come down to percentage at the end of the year. Those two tries in 2 mins at the end could really hurt us. When the game is done and dusted, we need to keep the foot on the throat and not let the opposition score consultation tries.

Those 2 tries were probably more the result of reshuffling things Munster and grant could have an early mark than a lack of ruthlessness.

Not even the first time it's happened this year. Wingers in particular are prone to it because they might only attempt one tackle sometimes and miss. More concerning in a centre though.

Origin seems to have given Coates some needed confidence, he seems to be much improved at the moment

Yep - as has been said by others, he should always be in the 17.
