We've received approval from the NRL to bring in Hynes for Hughes. Hughes is out with back spasms.

Pretty sure that will mean Croft will play.

We should have kept Drinkwater......

I dont usually criticise...but this was a poor mistake.

After all the judiciary rubbish, Sam Burgess is out anyway with a quad strain. Braidon Burns also ruled out.

Looks like the karma bus backed over Sam.

Bad news. Paps ( mid-foot sprain ) and Brandon ( ankle sprain ) both out for us . Tino and Billy W apparently will play.

If so , we have 4 changes from last week

Tui for Christian
Hynes for Hughes ( and best wishes Nicho on debut)
Tino for Brandon off the bench
Billy for Paps off the bench.

Aside from Christian ‘s ACL,, hopefully the other 3 will be ok and we are just being conservative given we are 3 games clear on top with 5 to play.

Big issue if neither of those guys are healthy for finals. That's all that matters.

Would love to know why Harry Grant wasn't the one brought in. Something to do with nrl contracts maybe? Walters first grade, Grant "development"?

Roy Ward suggesting 3-4 weeks for Brandon. He's yet to have scans though so nothing official.

Not a contract issue. Grant was promoted plus you can play development players after a certain point anyway.

Papenhuyzen has been injured for weeks. You could tell that when Tommy Turbo ran him down and monstered him during the Manly game

Anyone with half a brain would realise Papenhuyzen was running off balance after contact. Playing in the middle of the field is also an energy zap.

Loved seeing Tom get molested by the tiny Warriors half. Tom must be playing injured to get smashed like that

Sandor Earl and Max King drop out of the squad to face the Rabbitohs at Central Coast Stadium today.

Nicho Hynes will start at fullback, with Tui Kamikamica, Joe Stimson, Tino Fa’Asuamaleaui and Billy Walters on the interchange bench.
