This is the first press conference that Bellamy didn't use his trademark phrase " The EFFORT was there"

The times they are a changing'
I thought the exact same thing. If he ever says "well the effort was there...: after we play shit and lose again, i will walk to china on my eye balls.

Yeah it was good to see Bellamy just come straight out and admit we were soft. We were it was simple as that.

Notice how we came good after an awesome run by White though?  That's all we need - forwards that actually go forward... I'm sounding like a broken record, I know...  :?

He put 100% into that one didn't he?
WTF was Tolman thinking on the stroke of half time? Anderson should have done what Tolman did and Tolman should have done what Anderson did and perhaps it might have been 26-all.
2012 premiers. Legit.

Absolute CRAP!! Jeff Lima tries to put a shuffle on when he gets to the line, why cant he just run hard and straight like he use to? He was our Moimoi! Blair has no impact whatsoever when he hits the line, if he gets an offload away its a 50/50 to wether we get it or not.
Like Bellamy said, the forward were SOFT!! Zeb Taia toyed with them all night, and when are we gonna learn how to freakin tackle?
The Dragons have done it to us, Knights, Eels..it happens way too often, we're too used to getting numbers in and slowing it down but we cant wrap the ball up.

Our attack almost put me to sleep, when we actually started to have a go and take a few chances, we actually started to get somewhere just like the Eels game.  Brett Finch is really suited to this type of play and Hoffman actually started making clean breaks. I loved the last 15 minutes, Scott Anderson has really changed my opinion of him and Slater is getting back to his old ways again  :?

I cant see us beating the Eagles, our forwards are gonna get bashed!!!
"Better to have Won then Lost, than to have never won at all" Arrogant, but true hahahaha

Billy,(master of the understatement) Slater
"We weren't prepared to work that little bit harder to get the result that we needed. They wanted to run harder than us, they wanted to wrestle harder than us, they pretty much wanted to do all the little things that build to a good performance better than us."
](*,)
Wonder what would happen if the fans & members took the same attitude to Olympic Park that the players took to Newcastle

Maybe Billy should have actually gave us reasons as to why they showed up with a piss poor attitude and played like they were 10pts clear at the top of the table and cruising into the finals? instead of telling us what they did wrong, all us fans who watched that last night saw what we did wrong...clearly

Yeah saw Billy's article and he was pretty much spot on. Problem is if he knew why didn't he do anything about it!

Players always do that after a loss..just spin.

They better pull their fingers out this week, cos we do at least deserve an effort from the team.
