Five Eighth - Hill, Inglis, Widdop
Halfback - Cronk, Kimmorley, Orford

Prop - J.Bromwich, Kearns, Lazarus, Howe, Lima, White
Second Row - Kearney, Hoffman, Kidwell, Harris, Crocker, Proctor, Williams
Lock - Johnson, Nikau, Finucane, Hinchcliffe
I'm very interested in the way the list of names are laid out in each position. ie, they're not alphabetical. I'd almost suggest the first (and second where's there's more than one position) named will be the final list. And, I think I'd almost be cool with that, with the exception of lock where I can't make my mind up out of the first three named. Nikau my absolute favourite, Johnson for longevity and dependability - in defence, or Finucane who's probably the best of all three. This is the problem of comparing different era's, even within twenty years.

Or maybe we could just have a "devastating" team! And geez some spots are hard select.

From this I would go with
Fullback - Slater
Wings - Bai, Geyer
Centres - Inglis, Chambers
5/8 - Hill
Halfback - Cronk
Hooker - Smith
Props - Bromwich, Kearns
2nd Row - Kearney, Hoffman
Lock - Johnson

Suli misses out because he’s only had a short amount of time in first grade. Really the only position I was tossing about was 2nd Row, I wanted to put Tohu in but I couldn’t leave either Kearney or Hoffy out.

Disappointing we can't vote on it but here's the panel -

Head Coach Craig Bellamy, Football Director Frank Ponissi, CEO Dave Donaghy as well as inaugural CEO John Ribot and rugby league greats Greg Brentnall and Roy Masters head up the panel charged with the task of selecting the side.

I agree, would have liked to at least have input into the nominations.

Will they be naming 2 wing and 2 centres? Or will it be more like the Daly M team where there's only 1 of each?

Gee there are some tough decisions there. Hard to rate one era vrs another. Hard to rate one player vrs another.

Geez it's tough for the forward pack! I have named in positions, with the only query being back row... the two back rowers for me play the same side... if picking by side, Hoffman takes the bench spot and I'd start Tohu

1. Slater
2. Geyer
3. Chambers
4. Inglis
5. Bai
6. Hill
7. Cronk
8. Bromwich
9. Smith
10. Kearns
11. Hoffman
12. Kearney - both play 12 so if picking left and right, Hoffman misses out
13. Nikau

14. Hinchcliffe
15. Tohu
16. Lazarus
17. White

Not having Marcus Bai in your side should almost be a bannable offence :P
