Yeh maybe I'm being a tad harsh, but no more so than the loud-mouthed Manly supporters sitting near me on Sat. night...
And I can't believe Dunley will still be able to play next week...there have been similar or less serious spear tackles this season which have received a higher grading (eg. Utai, Cross)
Dunley cleared to play after early guilty plea

IMO it should have been at least a grade 3 dangerous throw, which would see him rubbed out for least 3 matches with an early guilty plea - or 5 if he contests it & loses. WTF is wrong with these judiciary morons, seriously?Tuesday, September 5, 2006 - 1:10 PM
Manly's reserve hooker Shayne Dunley has pleaded guilty to a grade one dangerous throw charge, ensuring he's free to play Newcastle in Friday night's NRL qualifying final at EnergyAustralia Stadium.
Dunley entered an early guilty plea for the 32nd minute tackle against Melbourne's Matt Geyer last Saturday night and received 93 carryover points for the offence - not enough to incur a suspension.
The Sea Eagles interchange player risked a one-week suspension if he fought the charge and lost at the judiciary.

It's a little crude and a bit of a rush job, but the following picture sums it all upgrey sub wrote: Well done Cooper beating Orford to half back of the year...

I like it Op2mus...
...and as for the Dunley thing - OMG! What a joke!!! Substitute Slater's name to that "tackle" and he would've got 2-3 weeks! Farken double standards yet again!
(I've been away all week and only just caught up with that news)
