Just read about it on the Herald Sun website. With the great success of the Storm this year, Caravan kings JAYCO have signed up as another of the sponsors of the Storm. Great to hear that they are back on board but will that mean we will see and hear those really loud ads of theirs on the big screen at the games. Go JAYCO and Go STORM.

It will mean that the caravans will be back in front of the light towers.

Not sure if this has been happening all the time but it was interesting to hear Jayco have giving discounts to Storm members this year when people have purchased a van.

Good to hear though

The HS website doesn't actually have the whole spiel about Jayco.  In the paper there's more ...
We are really pleased Jayco are coming back on board as shorts sponsors for the finals series.
I took that to mean it's not for 2007 and beyond, just the next month  ???

Oh no - not those caravans blocking our view again!!  angry9:
But anyways, welcome back to JAYCO becoming our short sponsors (better late than never to get a 2006 short sponsor).
Personally, I would have preferred a fast food outlet as a sponsor (
- either a hamburger joint whose symbol resembles two golden pointed curves,
- a fried poultry vendor from the Bluegrass state,
- a famished chap named Jacques,
- a crimson coloured male chook or
- a sandwich roll company named after the underground New York transport system  :D)

Nandon'ts.

I admit to being called a fast food junkie (hideously unfair I felt  ;) ), but twice there was twice too many times.
(I gave them a second chance after a woeful experience the first time and if possible they were worse second time around. Cold, undercooked, took ages and tasted dreadful).
Why couldn't we be sponsored by the Flower Drum?
We must all hang together or, most assuredly, we shall all hang separately

Yeah right Mikey. Stuff Jacks, stuff Nandos. Theres only one place to go and that is KFC. If u want a really good burger then go to Grilled. There are only a few stores in town but it is well worth it.

Oportos up here in QLD is great for that Portugese chicken... :)

As for Jayco (who happen to be the major competitor for the Motorhome company I work for), maybe they should release a model called the Bandwagon.

Don't get me wrong - sponsor money is money, but it would've been nice if they stuck with us to start with... Lord knows they have enough money to throw around!

Does anyone remember, during the early days of Storm, there used to be ladies from these type of establishments handing out cards to punters?
(This was from the Richmond/ Eastern end entrance).
I remember a  little kid asking for one of these cards, and the lady saying, "Sorry you're too young to have these cards".
