Stephen Kearney - Gone To Hull
They may not be travelling so well now, but the Robins time will come again!BlackAndWhite wrote:Still don't understand. Surely you're not suggesting he'd be better off at Rovers?
The history of Hull KR and Hell FC dates back to even before 1895, when both were part of a group of teams which broke away from the the existing (amatuer) Rugby Union to form the Northern Union which in time became the game we know as Rugby League.
Match reports of the 1886 Hull and District Rugby Union Cup final between Hull and HKR describe "ill feeling and bitterness between opposing fans after the match". In nearly 120 years - the longest standing rivalry in Rugby League - the friction between the two teams and their supporters has abated little.
It goes both ways too.
