Positives - Now we can keep Glen Turner and more importantly - Robbie Kearns.
I would take those two blokes over Ross anyday.
And now with Orford gone, we can give those players most important to us (Cameron Smith, Billy Slater, Cooper Cronk, Dallas Johnson, Jake Webster and Ryan Hoffman) a little something more. Afterall, those young players mentioned are the future of the club. Cameron Smith is the future leader.

That is his job. He can still only get what the clubs are willing to pay
Fair enough too........but all the wrangling around asking top dollar, NOT just for Storm players, will just push the quality of the games down as the guys head off shore for bucks, because they can't get a team to pay wat Mimis wants them to pay. There is only so much to go around, he wants most of it.
IMO

He isn't that bad. He's no champion, but he's reasonable.
I guess it's now official, Cameron will be the primary kicker next year, and Orford won't have to, because Manly have Michael Witt. Witt is a brilliant kicker. Chris Hicks will be Witt's back up so Orford won't be required off the tee.

he cant kick from the sideline.

sure cam smith doesnt covnert every single one from the touch but he atleast makes a few and has the length. orford doesnt have the length to make it that far.

inglis kicked 7/7 for norths today....inglis can be the other kicker with cam next year.

Inglis sure can kick. He kicked plenty of goals with the Devils last season and early this year (plus sunday afternoon).
Cam and Greg to kick goals for sure. All set and the season hasn't even finished. This year I want Bellamy to drop Orford from kicking duties when inglis is playing.

Hey, I can wish can't I? I wonder why Bellamy's reluctant to give it to Inglis, he's had plenty of practice this season and is a proven 1st grade material.
