We've have quite the backline dramas don't we.

Slater, Turner, Cooper, Bell, MacDougall, Webster, Geyer & King.

From that I'd like to see MacDougall dropped, Geyer play 5/8 (Hill to lock) and then have Cooper, Bell or Turner off the bench.

I'd also like to see Slater back in the centres, but just like Geyer going back to 5/8 and Hill to lock, Bellamy seems reluctant to make that move.

Slater has locked down the fullback position now. Where as I thought he just did a great job as a fill in last year, I now see this as his position long term. He is even being talked about as a possible Origin bolter by Hagan, so it appears everyone sees this as his position.
I tend to agree with Earl, and think it is between Bell and McDougall and Bell needs to fire because Puppy had a couple of good games before he did his hammy and I think he would be ahead of Bell on points at the moment

Slater is a definate contender for Origin.

They need Lockyer at 5/8 and know that he has been selected there for the test match I think its a done deal.

That leaves Wesser, Shifcoscke, Slater and Bowen in contention for the fullback spot.

Without sounding bias Slaters form is the pick of the bunch. I think they need Bowen on the bench as he can cover many positions.
