Round 9 - Dragons vs Storm
The Storm may have won games last year but we definitely started slowly.
The difference this year is we lost those close games and some of them were only by 1 point.
As for the Dragons game. We must win the battle of the trenches. With a few forwards out; this is going to be hard but if we get forward momentum, we spin it wide and let our outside backs do their thing.
We have got our mojo back seemingly and in no small part due to Riley Jacks.
We have snuck back into the 4 and this Dragons game looms as "season defining" which is a big call early in the season. But we can make up for lost time by winning this game and cementing ourselves in the top 4.
Go Storm.

That would be Ryley you're referring to ?Cameron wrote:

Obviously there's no Ryley in the Manly team so you didn't know how to spell his name correctly.
Remember this day, men, for it will be yours for all time
Its not a spelling competition; it is an analysis of the Storm season to date and I am spot on with my analysis.
Melbourne sent a warning shot to every NRL team with a dominant win over the Warriors. The Storm played brilliant football in the first half and did well enough to outscore the Warriors in the second half despite having not much ball.

Cold, wet and miserable day that was. Bastards even made me put my umbrella down...Scooter wrote:This is also the same mob who thought they were the rightful premiers and thought they were still a better team in 2000. Then we whooped them 70-10.

- Finucane and Vunivalu named back in the starting team. Timely returns.
- Curtis Scott named at centre but under an injury cloud.
- Welch and NAS the starting props. A real look into the future there.
- Bench definitely looks a prop short. I’d swap Stimson for Kaufusi.
