Problem is, we have no-one of equal calibre though.

Dropping Felise to the bench is message enough. To be honest, Felise offered more impact from the bench than he has starting this year.

If NAS is available, he should come in for Nicholls.

I am very much looking forward to Brandon getting a run but I just cannot advocate for a non-running forward taking up a bench spot. Especially with Jesse still out.
I agree there is no-one of equal calibre....im just thinking Felise could do with a rest. He's done more work thus season then the rest of his career combined.

And not having four running forwards on the bench? Im not too fussed. I can't see any other role for Brandon Smith right now then a Hinchcliffe type role, like I mentioned earlier. And lets be honest, Tui and Nicholls were bloody average last week, so it's not as of we'd be sacrificing a heap of metres!

So in a game where the Storm missed 31 tackles and completed just 19 sets in 80 minutes, you thought the two reserve forwards who played 19 minutes and 10 minutes respectively without dropping a ball or missing a tackle should be singled out as being "bloody average"? If NAS is fit he should come into the 17 but regardless of who is on the bench, I'd like to see Bellamy show a bit more faith in them - especially in a game where the starting 13 is serving up stats like that

Yes, they were average. Its not overly hard to play mistake free footy when your involvement is minimal.
The point wasnt actually to single them out. It was in response to losing a running forward to play B Smith. All im saying is we wont lose much due to their minimal involvement.
Not saying they're bad footballers, just saying they wouldn't be greatly missed if they were not named.

The more I think about it the more I smell a smokescreen with NAS. He was originally out for a month but was only going to miss two games because of the Rep Round and next week's bye. It would be crazy to rush him back when missing this game would effectively give him an extra fortnight to recover. More likely he's only been kept in the 19 to allow both Tui and Slade to avoid the trip to WA and have a game this weekend. My tip is NAS was never a chance but Young will drop out to give Smith his debut. You read it here first

I'll be mad online if Bellamy plays Young over NAS or Smith.

Like the Iraqi Minister for Information during the 2003 Gulf War (Muhammad Saeed al-Sahhaf), anyone remember him? If you don't here's a little reminder;

The first paragraph should be enough to jog the memory

the more I watch (and Munster just coughed it up) I think Munster at FB and billy at 5/8 is an option the team need to explore.

Munster does not look very threatening at 5/8 compared to fb. However, I am certain Billy would be just as effective at 5/8 as he is at fb

Munster's last tackle options are absolute gash.
