I don't see us losing the Bromwich boys with the club doing their best to keep them around. I think it's a fair call to say that others would be choosing between loyalty and $$$. I'm assuming Billy will retire at the end of the year which would free up some big cash for us to put towards contract upgrades for our hard working forwards. Having said that, other than Jesse (and maybe NAS) I don't see anything too special in the others that couldn't also be done by an imported player playing under our systems and structures.

They've lost Tamou and will likely see Scott leave after this season. Plus the salary cap is going up. Only guessing here but I'd imagine they would be offering a massive pay rise to get him up there. I don't see him ever getting close to what Jesse is as a player so I'm fine with not paying him as such.

We keep losing our own so I wonder who we have targeted to replace them with.

+1 in addition to his playing ability, durability and attitude, Jesse's other big asset is that he's a leader among our forwards and makes those around him better. With all due respect to JMac, he just hasn't shown that (as of yet).

While I won't be happy to see him go, I am happy that there's a club out there that's willing to pay big $$$ for his services and I'm sure he won't let them down.

Maybe someone like Joe Ofahengaue or JJ Felise would come into the equation. But plenty of props in the QCUP.

Jesse Bromwich has re-signed with Storm for another 3 years (with a 2 year option).

Great news about Jesse...but makes the loss of KP, Tohu...probably JMac and possibly Welch even harder to take.

this pack could have been rampant for 4 - 5 more years at least

Really dissapointing as he looks like he's building towarss his prime years.
Really impressed with his first up effort last Friday and he'll probably play Origin this year f he keeps it up.
I don't see any of our current backups making the same impact sadly.
