Spot on Glenn. I'd imagine that 9 still choose who plays when in the finals like they do in the regular season and they couldn't/wouldn't give a toss how the game at the G' may affect us. All that said i still think it's highly unlikely we'll get the Sunday slot anyway for the reasons i mentioned above.

Looks like we are at AAMI next week. Manly are absolute rubbish.

Outstanding. I feel dirty though and need a shower after cheering for those scumbags.

One win boys! One win and we get a home Prelim!

I almost cheered for them but then I threw up a little. Still, we have a double chance as long as Warriors don't lose by 78 points.

I was kinda half hoping the Sharks would get up.
Another five day break is an absolute joke.

We shouldn't have put ourselves in this position - but I'm so glad Manly won.

Let's do this!

The rooster have a seven day break we have an eight day break. I am sure someone at the NRL needs to change that. I did hear something on Friday night: Channel 9 wanted the Roosters, (their chairman being on board at Channel 9 giving sponsors the best time slot) on Friday and had them penciled in, but they were told if Sharks finished fourth it would not happen because of the 5 day turn around for the Sharks was not fair. Channel 9 was not happy and were told Broncos/Cowboys Friday night and Roosters/Sharks Sunday. Funny how 5 day turn breaks at not alright now.

Obviously glad that we've made it, but given how inconsistent we've been over the year it doesn't speak volumes for the rest of the competition that we've finished 4th.

In saying that, cant have asked for a better run into the finals with wins over 2 of the top 3 teams so I'm very keen to see the damage we can cause in the finals series

I'm a realist. I don't think we have a shot against the Roosters. They are an unbelievably good football team with weapons all over the field. Getting the 2nd chance might be great and all but we'll likely play the Dogs who are another team we struggle against.

I would've preferred staying 5th and completely missing both teams despite having to play an elimination game. We'd have an "easier" run to the GF.
