A story printed today is O'Donnell wants a release and wants to return to Australia. The Roosters have confirmed they are talking to him, but wil have to let three players go (Tom Symonds, Brad Takairangi and Anthony Cherrington). But Peter O'Sullivan said the deal is far from done. This club must have a really good accountant.

2007 - Clint Newton
2009 - Brett Finch
2012 - Richie Fa'aoso

Anybody see a pattern here???? :)

All have a Newcastle link too - Newton and Fa'aoso played there and Finch grew up in that area.

O'Donnell's English will not grant a release at this stage. So maybe the Roosters have moved to early.

if u got that info off the daily tele rlw mole told me its incorrect n the deal is done n it was 3 days b4 that come out n that he will be a chook
