Fark!! That's pretty damn shitty dude. At least your boys made it less shitty for you.
And another positive is you used the word "had", as opposed to "have".

I'm fine now boys and girls thanks for the kindness, my type was the most survivable but also most embarrassing for sufferers and any Dr will know what I mean but that's ok, they get it

Either way I want to be seen as one of you,I don't see myself as a cancer patient I had stage one with no blood markers, you don't get much less serious than that as far as cancer goes I was lucky i'm not a typical arrogant male,I waited 3 days and others die because they wait months

Glad you're ' in remission' dude, since no one is ever really clear of Big C.
Most survivable ? Yours truly had cancer of the larynx Way back in the 90's
And short of it somehow traveling down the vocal cord & into the lung.
That shit will take 20+ years to choke you to death
No 'chemo' then & the 'prefered' cure was to cut out a vocal cord
And if it came back on the other vocal cord ?
That went as well & you got the 'Darth Vader' hole in the throat treatment.
SCREW THAT SHIT !! I opted for 3 months of beam radiation therapy.
Was cool not having to shave my lower neck for 6 months & my missus was really happy to be married to 'Whispering Jack' for even longer

Main thing.........................
Every time you & I look in the mirror each morning we see
Survivors ;)

ps : sorry to derail this thread
Always carry a flagon of whiskey in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake - WC Fields

My wife's been clear of cervical cancer for a few years now following two bouts of chemo and a biopsy, my dad's been given the all clear following a hefty radiation-therapy program to treat a sarcoma, my Mum's just recently been given A-ok after 2 chemo sessions and a liver biopsy. And my Auntie is still going strong about 20yrs since her first breast cancer treatment.
There are plenty of survivors.
Stay strong and healthy of mind guys, and you're body will stay strong and healthy too.

Sorry to swing this thread back to the DVD (although it is good to hear that everyone's doing well) - but is it any good? Totally forgot to pick mine up yesterday.
