18. Brad Watts (1999-2001) (36 games, 12 tries, 11 goals) – A utility back, Watts could have been a very good player if he had stayed at the Storm. He joined Souths in 2002, where he struggled to make an impact on the cellar-dwelling Bunnies and eventually his career faded away and was left stranded on 99 NRL games.
17. Alex Chan (2004-05) (32 games, 4 tries) – Melbourne Storm would be the third club for Kiwi prop Chan, and he was a solid contributor to the forwards in the two seasons he spent at the club. He did have a poor record at the judiciary though.
