Honestly... i think its a very poor slogan of sorts (the massive storm one)
However I don't mind the "change of season one"
I really think they need to get their act together for this years campaign... but maybe that will begin after the season launch (tomorrow isn't it?). So far the advertising is not any different to any other year. I almost forgot there was a game on this weekend and i just renewed my membership.

i really dont mind what it looks like as long as its bold it has a clear message about what the storms all about and its eyecatching.. we need people to look at the message and be persauaded to come to a game.

Thats what i would think if i didnt know what was happening, so i dont want everybody posting what is happening

good to see that it's there...especially cos its spread over 2 pages!
I still think Storm need to saturate the market with advertising including team billboards (not stuck on walls behind train stations thanks!)...plus you have 2 posterboys in the team in Matt King and Billy Slater...flood the market boys!

They were my thoughts Looney - what are they advertising? It's way too late in the game to be playing the mystery card. This kind of advertising should have been done prior to release of memberships, with memberships then being advertised.I say whats happening on march 13th? And what time?
I am guessing that today's ads were just a start of a week long advertising campaign. Funny slogans if you read them literally - 1. I read an article last week pointing out how small the Storm's starting pack really is (smallest in the league) and 2. This is Melbourne, there won't be one change of season on a given day there will be 4 of them!

Same deal with iPod ads. You see those green iPod shuffle ads at tram stops around the city? You wouldn't have a clue what they are for if you don't know what that white object in the middle of the poster is but apple's website address is printed there also and iPods are selling like mad.
Simplicity in advertising is best.
