Gossip fromm storm training
Overheard a conversation while at storm training today
The coaches want to keep Bryan Norrie and Ryan Tandy Kevin Protor Aiden Tolman and Ryan Hoffman
are letting Jeff Lima go
and think that Brett white has made the desision on his own that he wants to go overseas
they didnt know where Jessie Bromwich was in contract talks
im guessing the conversation was only about second rowers and props cause no other names came up
I also met Kevin Proctors Father Who seems really nice and he said that kev wants to stay in melbourne as he has a good life away from all the distractions

Whose conversation?
Everyone is saying Lima was going anyway...so thats not such a amazing revelation. I guess we won several games without Brett so while it would be a pain for him to go we all know props can be replaced easier than 1,,6,7,9, just look how Tandy and Norrie have stepped up (and with Sika coming back

White going overseas is actually big news as it means we wont have to pay any part of his salary that we may be liable for if he went to Sydney.
Yep if Lima and White go overseas we don't have to pay anything like Noa said.

Thanks sallymay
You're usually spot on with the Goss.
With the Euro on the slide, It is no longer so great an incentive to go over the the UK.
Rather Brett over there than with the Chooks :X

Would be sorry to see White go if true becouse he seems a really nice fella and is good with the fans. Been quite injury prone the last few seasons, and with the form of Tandy and Norrie this season so far I would put him behind them (although he has only played one game!)
Still not made my mind up about proctor yet.

The Proctorator will come good. (If he already isn't.)
Gotta give these young fellas a bit of slack.
They can't all be Adam Blairs after a couple matches.

Proctor has been good defensively, not so good offensively but thats because he was playing left edge till last week, not good when he carries the ball exclusively in his right arm. Means he cant use a fend at all unless the outside man jams in.
He played RE v the Boys and ran for over 100 mtrs, that is NO coincidence. Only thing I want to see out of his game is that little kaufusi shuffle he does before the line.
And to prove your point Klutzy I could go back and dig plenty of posts about people not rating Adam Blair that highly or Sika Manu, like you said they need time.

Will be sad to Whitey and Lima go...Lima has been in good form the past few years. But these young guys you mentioned are capable of doing the job or even doing a better job. Also we have Sika still to return.

No need for digging Noa, I recall an article about Blair nearly getting cut by Bellamy in his second pre-season due to him not putting in enough effort.Noa Nadruku wrote:And to prove your point Klutzy I could go back and dig plenty of posts about people not rating Adam Blair that highly or Sika Manu, like you said they need time.

Even last year he was on thin ice with Bellamy.Surandy wrote:No need for digging Noa, I recall an article about Blair nearly getting cut by Bellamy in his second pre-season due to him not putting in enough effort.Noa Nadruku wrote:And to prove your point Klutzy I could go back and dig plenty of posts about people not rating Adam Blair that highly or Sika Manu, like you said they need time.
White and Hoffman will go to the UK, Tolman will end up at the Bulldogs and Blair might end up at the Warriors; those are my predictions.
