A source close to Waldron said: ''After Brian left the Storm he took a call from David Gallop. Gallop made clear that he thought it was a bad idea to leave News Ltd - especially when he was effectively going to set up a rival to the company he'd just been running.

''Gallop told him, 'You just don't leave the family.' ''
What the frack?! People leave executive positions all the time to set up new companies. Who the hell is Gallop to make thinly veiled threats like that? It's something that could come back to bite him on the arse....

News Ltd offered a pay deal that would have paid Waldron more than Gallop's salary, partly because of fears that he would compete with the Storm for many of the same fans and sponsors in Melbourne.
HAHAHAHAHA! Gallop must be on lima lima lima duck peanuts!

Watch out, Gallop - real politicians are stepping in.

The rest is just journos reaching to try and keep the Storm-burning alive.

The Storm WILL survive this,  I dont think Gallop will for much longer...

I agree and I hope there is a government enquiry in this fiasco.
