Hey guys...havent read every single thread or news article so sorry if this has been answered before.

If the investigation finds that the player(s) knew about the rorting....then what happens from there? Does that player get sacked straight away without having the rest of his contract paid out.

What i cant get my head round is if we have to release a top player wont he still have to be paid out his contract what he is owed leaving the Storm still over the Salary Cap.

This is the 'catch 22' that Gallop & Co put in place when the INSISTED that the playing group be split up.
You have to honour a contract,(which is by DJ leaving was so expensive),so if the players are not allowed to re-negotiate a lower rate & are forced to leave the payout figure will STILL count against the cap,(as did DJ's)

A farcical situation that may just result in the team Mark Geyer,(spits on floor in disgust) is howling for - Full of NSW cup & Junior players but hey !! At least then they'll get some 'more competitive' teams in NSW.
Always carry a flagon of whiskey in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake - WC Fields

Regarding DJ why should he receive a payout when he requested to be released from his Contract.

They'll go play union or super-league and live happily ever after.
