It's about attitude this week, absolutely no doubt in my mind about that.  Should be a cracker!

its going to be a beautiful day in melb today, im dragging my sick arse out of bed to go to the game.

i think the boys should opt to go with the wind in the second half to finish strongly

***Spoilers**

Nearly half time...we are down 12-4. Listening on radio...sounds as tho our defence is soft and our attack is the same as its been all year. *sigh*

Should have won that won, although we've won enough this year without deserving it. Top 4 place in real jeopardy. We should get over the Roosters at Olympic Park but playing in Auckland, last game of the season we may just miss out, and if we do i think that's it for our chances. We just can't win away.  :x

The way we are playing...the Roosters game is 50/50.

I thought our forwards were good in the first half but we blew the chances that we had like Slater not passing and Cronk dropping the ball over the line and we didn't use the wind to our advantage. What really annoys me is we give up soft trys all the time now.

I'm shattered. We should have won that game in the end. Blew two chances!!

That was such a huge game. If we had won Manly would have been 10th on the ladder!! Now they are 5th!!!!

If we lose our last 2 games we could finish as low as 9th!!

If we win one only then we will probably be playing Manly in Sydney first week of the finals

However one win and a DRAW could see us still finish 4th!!

I know I shouldn't be posting on here straight after watching the game (things could be said without a clear head), but...

Pathetic playmaking/coaching in the end - not one attempt at a 40/20 in that second half - that'll do me.

I can't wait for us to be knocked out in week one of the finals - at least the frustration will then be over.  [-(

We were the better team today, no question about it. If thats what Manly have got to offer then bring them on in the finals.

Sadly we are just playing with absolutely no luck at the moment as most of that second half showed. We don't get the bounces of the ball every other team seems to get at the moment.

Much improved game today though, we actually created alot more chances today and looked better with the ball. Our defence was back to where it should be, we gave up two scrappy tries that were just from pure luck and only gave up one super soft try.

Scott Anderson's best game by far and good to see Blair back to starting.

We will handle the Roosters easy next week and just need to step up in NZ in the final round.

Still dissappointing we are losing games though.

Oh, and no offence to those that went to the game today, but where the hell was the atmosphere?  Such a big game and it just seemed so lifeless... the crowd seemed as interested as our defense at times...

I agree. Manly got two tries from "lucky" kicks/bounces.

I liked our attacking play where we weren't just taking the ball up one off the ruck but were actually trying some inside passes and chance of direction. I liked what I saw.

K=Just watched the replay of that last minute run by Slater. Turner would have scored out wide if Slater passed however Slater did see the last guy in defence struggling so headed for the posts. I don't know what Slater thought when he then passed the ball to no-one. Why didn;'t he take the tackle??!!

I was at the game and can totally agree with you.
Poor crowd figure too, considering it was a nice day and an early afternoon Sunday game.

I really think we will struggle to win any of our next 2 games, and as for the finals I will be surprised if we make it past week one. Too many injuries etc.

i gave the benefit of the doubt to Slater cause i think from his view Turner/Chambers looked covered.

Though it wasn't 5 tackle was it?

Man we had so many chances to win that game, we were all over them most the game. I guess this is what i feels like to be on the other end when we use to win so many games without being the better team on the field
