Re: Concussed Inglis throws another scare through Maroons camp
He's been cleared. http://www.nrl.com/news/news/newsarticle/tabid/10874/newsid/58777/inglis-cleared-for-origin-opener/default.aspx Good,QLD should have no excuses Except for the fact the world's best hooker (possibly best player) Cam Smith is out. On paper the NSW forward pack looks better than Qld...

Re: WE HAVE NEW NUMBER 1 TOOL JOURNO
Quote from Phil Rothfield from the daily Telecrap I’m not sure he’d be Origin coach if Melbourne had spent the same amount on players as all other clubs. How many comps would Dessie Hasler have won if he had Inglis and Slater on top of his normal roster. Craig Bellamy got the job because he has bee...

Re: HUGE SURGE IN NRL CROWDS
Refers to the data in the State of the gAme release by the NRL... wonder when they collated the data? Maybe at that stage we were below still? Membership numbers are as at 19 April, 2010. You would think with them releasing the data a month later than 19 April that the data would be more up to date.

Re: 300 new members
great news......official site now says 9499 members.....a gain of approximately 1030 since 22nd april. can we make 10000....that would be awesome. if we are to not only survive...but actually thrive in the future, we need more and more members. it is a strong membership base that can make a club li...

Re: Aiden Tolman gone to the Bulldogs
I am disappointed that Aiden is leaving, but as others said it was almost inevitable, particularly after the scandal. Aiden was playing well this year, and if he didn't get injured he would have played in the Country side and probably be in the NSW side. Thanks Aiden for your efforts with the Storm ...

40-0 Grapple that!!! Not a choker by any means I always said to a mate of mine that is a Manly fan that Orford choked under "scoreboard pressure." When behind Orford always had a tendency to want to score off the next play instead of building a set of six and back to back sets of six. Unf...

Re: Storm ready for court battle to recover their premierships
Hi all, Long time reader first time poster, Storm fan since 99 (First game I ever seen involved Nikau and Joe Vagna squaring up at olympic park! love at first sight!) Just wanted to share my two cents here, I work the graveyard shift and have spent the best part of my shift so far reading about how...

Anthony Quinn – suffered a ligament avulsion (torn from the bone) in Sunday’s game. Thus requires surgical re-attachment and he will unfortunately miss 4 weeks. http://www.melbournestorm.com.au/default.aspx?s=newsdisplay&id=323 If that is the case why have we named Quin in the team. So will Sta...

Noa I would assume that Rory would be utility bench player considering Hinchcliffe will take over the hooking role in Cam's absence.noa nandruku wrote: Rory Kostjasyn must be playing, didnt suit up with the NSW cup team.

source: www.melbournestorm.com.au A brilliant second half comeback wasn't enough for a gallant Melbourne to snatch victory in an entertaining under-20's clash with North Queensland, going down 34-30 at Dairy Farmers Stadium on Saturday. Trailing 34-10 with just over 20 minutes left, the young Storm...

Australia V New Zealand
I see from the Foxtel EPG and from the TV Guide in the Herald Sun that Channel None is televising the test match live on Friday night. This I suppose is not unusual considering they like televising matches live against the gate. In this instance it shouldn't effect the crowd much because most people...

Another great win. I think Craig has said to the boys as long as you keep with our usual defensive structure, I am happy for you to have some fun in attack. It is a bit like Parra at the end of last year they thought they couldn't make the finals so they threw the ball around a bit. I agree with oth...

Re: NRL must not rip into Melbourne Storm roster
Good work, Karl. It just goes to show that News Ltd can ship northern journalists in and out of Melbourne. But even with Karl back in Qld he still has first hand knowledge of what the Storm have done in the past recruitment wise and can write an informative article. I think a lot of people including...

Foxsports website mid tier players Lima Finch Hoffy White are likely These players make sense plus you would expect Tolman to leave. Noa I can't see there's much sense in offloading Norrie and Tandy because we would be picking someone up on the same or at least similar value. These guys are solid p...

We drove 100k, took 1hour 20 min to get there.had an argument with the car parking attendants, made our way up to the stand, and then watched he boys come out. Didn't see a thing of it. Straight away, went to the management, got our money back and went home.Goodbye Melbourne Storm, goodbye NRL, go...
