Re: Blair to Bulldogs?

Eagle,  I have heard Ray Warren say on many occassions that he has seen many great fullbacks over the years and Billy Slater is the best he has seen.  Also, I have herad Clive Churchill's widow say that Billy Slater plays the same way her husband use to play.  Once she even said that Hayne does not ...

Re: Victory Lap - but no signings or pictures?

I agree about GI he never seems intrested in anyone other than himself.  That  is what makes me think he is not going to leave Melbourne.  He could not stand Sydney where he can not walk down the street.  In Melbourne he hardly get regionzed and I think he likes it like that.  One of the things Izzy...

Re: Victory Lap - but no signings or pictures?

You are so wrong about Cooper Cronk.  My family have the SOOPER COOPER sign every home game, since Cronk has come into first grade (five years ago).  Every week he waves and says thank-you, some weeks he comes over and shakes our hands, (usally when we have played a great game).  When my son was you...

Re: GI to the roosters?

Players with current contracts (Greg is one) can not sign with anyone else, until their current contract is torn up.  While would Storm do this until the audit is over.  We might not be able to sing any new players or extend any current players contract (ie Tolman), but we are not going to let any g...

Re: The Real Ladder

They will make it so hard for Melbourne to be strong/stay together for next year.  The NRL (Gallop) are changing the rules everyday it seems.  They do not want them to be a top side in the next couple of years like the Bulldogs after their 2002 cap problems. It has also now be stated that the player...

Re: Should Tolman play again this season

When he went down in the Warriors, I said that will be the last time he plays for Storm.  I still belive this to be true.  I have nothing aganist him leaving, good on him, but I do not think he will play for us again.

Re: Smith faces new salary cap claims

Also, Cooper and Greg have meant to have got an extra payment of $25,000 from a charity fund.  Appartly they have been called in to answer question form the auditors at the club last week.  I thought all the findings from this audit could not be reveiled until to was finalized!  Yet it made today's ...

Re: Legal action funded by supporters of the club

It today's Sydney papers, it states Jayco's owner was looking at buying the Storm in March this year.  It also says that Ribot has been a driving force behind the legal bid and told Gallop a week ago it was going to happen. Also, the Bulldog's sponor Jaycar, (the guy that put the ad it the paper) ha...

Re: Legal action funded by supporters of the club

Gallop has just issued a statment.  It is in the NRL site.  He says that on the day the NRL did everything right and our directors of the club were given ample time to discuss the plenties and they came out on the day and said we accept everything the NRL has done.  Now they are changing there minds...

Re: Betting called of for Titans?

I agree.  Nothing will happen to the Titans.  There will be other teams over the cap this year.  All announced after the eand of the season.  They will all get fines and say it was a honest mistake. After reading and listening to everything I can get on this "Stormgate" over the past few w...

It was awarded to Lockyar.  It it is a Channel nine game, ( which most Broncos games are), Lockyar gets man of the match 99% of the time.
