Re: Player of the Year Awards
Yep, T went but was flying out that night so had to leave early (some R&R before the 4 Nations). Brilliant that J-Brom won the big one & happy with all the other player's recognition...I'm excited for next year - we're building again to something special in the next year or two if the young ...

Re: Other Rugby League Internationals
I remember Jordan...he was another player that showed some talent but for whatever reason was not kept on by Storm . Colin Meads nephew I think & with a rugby background he just didn't seem to be what was wanted at the time or had a hankering to go back to NZ, or something. Was quite small compa...

Re: 2014 Official thread and signing news
let's hope he gets the opportunity to express himself and isn't held back by the Storm 'structure'. Then again, he may shine because of it....

Re: 2015 lineup
Another pre-season under our young one's belts...who can tell what will happen or how they'll improve? CB seems to put in experienced players (Ben at 6) rather than put in someone getting used to NRL level...might mean Nona gets a run, probably why Green will be in the mix - but one more pre-season ...

Re: Finals Week 1
Gutted, absolutely gutted, gone without so much as a whimper. Out enthused and OUT COACHED. (Does Dessie have a better record against Bellamy than anybody else?) Craigs half time sprays, whilst legendary are surely now becoming old hat and either the old dog needs to find some new tricks or we as a...

Re: Round 25 - Roosters vs Storm
I saw a team who played awesome considering the 2 short turnarounds against top teams...and I saw a tired team who uncharacteristically made errors and ran out of steam in the last 15 - that won the Roosters the game not because of their superiority. Here's hoping they pick themselves up and are ref...

Damn...Hope it means Jesse just didn't travel up with the team, but arrived today? If not, hope at least that both Jordan & Tohu get some good minutes and go hard as

Could have, I know he was in their wider squad but it is the first time we've seen him actually playing on tv ourselves so was moved to comment on it...I'll certainly take your word for it Sallymay, you are up with who's who etc. Love your work!

Ex-Storm players who have gone to the the other side (rugby)
Just saw the beginning of a live broadcast of the NZ ITM Cup, North Harbour playing Southland & Matty mcGahan is playing first-five for North Harbour. Converted their try with ease. Really pleased to see Matty coming through to ITM level & hopefully if he acquits himself well he may get a ch...

Re: Round 22: Knights vs Storm
Should never have lost after being so far ahead - which is what CB would've blown them up about I suspect Played ok enough to score when the chances came Never seen such BS penalties in a game Knights played well but got all the advantage - weren't penalized for things Storm were & were gifted ...

Re: Marika Koroibete Fan Club
I know this is about MK and may not be the right thread but I just need to say that having met Ben Roberts, his wife, and parents recently they have got to be some of the nicest people around - so grateful for the chance he has been given to play for the Storm & all of them expressed they wished...

Re: Marika Koroibete Fan Club
We're in & we represent a multitude from here! We think he is one of the most exciting recruits to the Storm for some time...along with T of course , Jesse, Mahe (improving weekly) and Kurt, we are so excited to see Storm build an amazing roster to see them continue their legacy. MK rocks!

T is 6ft 4ins (195cm) ...even accounting for he is in front of Mahe I think Mahe would be struggling to be 185cm. Plus, have seen them together and there's just no way!

Don't think that's how Storm recruits, or at least I hope not....sallymay wrote:Hasn't come out yet but apparently Reece want to be with his brother
if they do pick him up hopefully its because he has something to offer, not for a family reunion
