Due to the Australian Open on and the great possibility of big crowds in the area on the 22nd, the VRL have decided to cancel next weeks Storm League.

We will be back to normal on the 29th (AusOpen in it's last few days).

Have they started broadcasting yet? I want to give them a call and ask if they're going to bite the bullet and broadcast Storm games! Surely they wouldn't compete in the AFL radio market - that would leave them available for Rugby League - maybe even syndicate broadcasts of other games from Sydney s...

In the much anticipated return to the season proper, Storm League starts up tomorrow night! Although competition begins tomorrow, all are welcome to come along and join in the fun.

Game time around 6pm at Gosch's Paddock, Cnr Swan and Punt Roads in Richmond.

Perhaps with King being a winger, that could explain why Storm didn't do all they could to keep Marcus? Storm have a history of letting players go with a good year or two left in them in preference for longer term players! Pity they don't enforce the same on persistently injured players!
