Re: Storm Players at the World Cup

We could play him in a variety of roles.

Leave him till the last 20 minutes of each half when the pace is off the game and just let him do his thing.

He is Star Wars.

Re: 2014 Official thread and signing news

Alex is married with a son so probably he would be good eye candy but unattainable.

But his rugby league skills could compliment us in our bid for back to back glory.

I think he would fit in at the Storm tremendously well.

Re: Smithy puts back to back on the table.

I think it is great for all our players to embrace it and talk it up.

will put fear in all our opponents hearts and heads that we are ready and waiting, ruthlessly.

Re: World Club Challenge

I’m happy it’s likely to happen. I like the WCC. One thing I would like to see happen is the winning team gets home field advantage for the next year. So if Melbourne win then next year it is set in Australia again, but if Leeds win then next year would be in the UK

Re: 2014 Official thread and signing news

There is always an injury at some stage. Both Mclean and Harris and Wesch were out this year at some stage. And Jessie was stood down for two games. You can't have enough big monsters running the ball. What improved for us last year and won us the premiership was our forward pack. Pure and Simple. W...

Smithy puts back to back on the table.

Sounds confident. Good to see him embrace it as a challenge. http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/sport/nrl/teams/melbourne-storm-captain-cameron-smith-targets-backtoback-nrl-premiership-history/news-story/ffb8ffbc4ea18ebf671222892dbee7e6 Melbourne Storm captain Cameron Smith targets back-to-back NRL pr...

Re: 2014 Official thread and signing news

Are we into him Lucas? Alex Walmsley is the exact guy we need. A huge wrecking ball to take us forward so Smith and Munster and Slater and Chambers can do their thing. I reckon we could get him for $400k a year with the promise to improve him under the coaching of the great Bellyache. And we also se...
