Re: Storm should chase Jason Akermanis
He'd make Chris Walker's defence look like a combination of David "Cement" Gillespie and Trevor "The Axe" Gilmeister.

Re: cowboys V Melbourne
If we get up this weekend it will go down as one of our greatest wins. I'd be tempted to have GI at 5/8 for a large portion of the game. Just something different to throw the Cowboys off. Ingliss brilliance is what can get us over the line in this game. Btw incredibly Greg is only 5 points behind Th...

Everyones available and in form......
....then who's you top 17 that you would take the field with. The depth of our forwards is about to become a nice headache for Craig Bellamy so if everyone is available and in form who would you like to go to "war" with. Maybe give a brief reason why you prefer one player to another. Noa's...

Re: Scott Hill droped to PL
He probably deserves to get dropped though I did feel some sympathy for him when he commented how he was playing in a side who's completion rate was woeful. He will be back in a week or two as we cant keep playing Geyer at 5/8 and Hoffman in the centres. All he needs to focus on when he get's back i...

Re: Super Cronk
In trying to think who's game Cooper reminds me of I came to the conclusion that it is very similar to a (gulp) young Andrew John's. Now Coop will never, ever be the player Joey is but in playing style they are quite similar. Once Coop starts running more and putting the defence in 2 minds you'll se...

Re: Round 7: Melbourne v Newcastle
I don't see the problem everyone is having with Steve Turner. He seems fine in defence to me. The tries that do go down his side are usually big overlaps, and no single player can be blamed for that. Matt Kings defence so far this year has been pathetic, yet everyone seems fine with him. Hopefull B...

Re: inglis 5/8?
He's certainly got the ball skills to play 5/8 but I think he'll only line up there in cetain situations i.e. restarts from taps and penalties, in the red-zone. I'm not buying the talk he's not a centre. I think his form was down due to the hip-injury he suffered against in the first minute against ...

Re: more negative press
The big mistake in the article is that the writer presumes that the lack of press correalates with the potential audience. My experience in melbourne over the last 3 years tells me there is a large untapped audience. To start off with there are plenty of Ex-pats from QLD and NSW as well as quite a l...

Re: Storm v Roosters Rd 2
Look for Crocker to made captain and respond with an enormous game against his old team (btw Ricky Stuart is the most over-rated coach in the game). It was no coincedence that Kidwell was captain in NZ and he responed with a good game. Really looking forward to the clash between Inglis and Soliola, ...

Re: Round 1: Storm player of the week is Garret Crossman
Having watched the game twice I was very impressed with Crossman's game. Continually bent the Warrior's line and was dragging 2-3 Warrior's wtih him. Also noticed he was looking to pop a pass out so as the weeks go on look for his team-mates to provide a bit more suppport. Of coures the test now is ...

Greg Inglis selected in Australian prelimanary team....
along with 4 other storm players. Dont have the link but read it in todays Australian. Shows how well regarded he is. Me thinks Craig Bellamy's protestations that he's not ready for Origin might fall on deaf ears.

i can see your point. but getting pissed off at a team mate who stuffed up is different to actually leading players around the park. Telling them where to stand and what the next play is and lifting them up when there confidence is down is what he will need to do. Off course you wouldnt want to see...

We do but you hardly ever see league players do it, especially 21 year 'rookies' do that to experienced players. He actually shoved him.

Wow! Pretty good first post! :) Kidwell seems to have fixed his discipline problems. The others can too, hopefully. Our props needs to learn to offload a bit more to create opportuntities for unpredictable, creative attacking. Kaufusi was doing a neat little fend-and-flcikpass thing against the cow...

Hi, first post on this site. Great to find a sit solely dedicated to us storm fans. This is what I posted on another site regarding next year for the storm. What do you think. Anyway I'd like to give my opinion on the Storm and where they stand in relation to the 06' season. Next year will probably ...
