Mahe wasn't the only guilty party tonight, nobodies mentioned Proctor twice getting up without the ball (his own fault) and Smith not kicking it out. I say full credit to the Storm for winning, they made it hard for themselves and had to defend well (which they did)

Is it possible to take us for 39 1/2 points?Ice wrote:We will. I was quietly confident before the Raiders game (albeit never saw that result coming) and i'm every bit as confident about this one.

Re: Member Recognition
It's obviously not a problem for everyone. I too have been a member since 1998 and the records showed me as such. Now if only I could get my membership number down from four to three figures.....

Anybody, what was the crowd please, couldn't be there for this one unfortunately. Terrible waste of a perfectly good membership!

Impressive performance. Widdop looked like he'd had the benefit of training with the team but without Cronk, geez he looked good tonight, it all seemed cohesive. Bobby was fantastic in the centres but looked out of place as a half when Cronk came off but how well (and easily) did Smithy look when he...

Maybe 'The Big Three' are playing their form down in the hope they don't get picked come Origin time!
No, seriously, how awful is our Origin period starting to look?

Re: Round 4 - Brisbane vs Melbourne Fri 29/03 7:05pm at Sunc
well judging by the criticism he's getting it seams Matt Duffie is the new Anthony Quinn!!! That's a bit harsh, Quinny had his moments but was by and large, when available, fairly solid. ;) Everyone's throwing blame here, there and everywhere, largely at Chambers and Duffie. I'll admit to NOT being...

Re: Round 3 - Melbourne STORM v Canterbury Bankstown BULLDOG
Well we dodged the referees bullet last night. Just watched the replay and am even more amazed with some of the 'interpretations' by the on (and off) field officialdom. Is the ghost of Hollywood Arrogant back? At 54 mins and 40 seconds Cronk is obstructed in defence by the Bulldogs number 11 (whoeve...

Re: 2013 Membership packs
I ordered mine when memberships were opened, around October and received it in the week before Christmas. My suggestion to the membership department would be to change the Premiers Club 2013 notebook to a diary. Based upon my previous occupation (in sales) this would definitely be; a) more useful an...

Re: Melbourne coach Craig Bellamy poised to sign
Orford leaving Melbourne benefited both clubs involved,we got a great but aging halfback and you unearthed probably at this very moment the best halfback in the world (Seeing that Thurston has moved to the 6 and DCE isn't playing at full potential, which for opponents would have to be scary) With S...

Will he, won't he? This whole saga reminds me of Matt Orford. I hope it doesn't work out the same way.

Re: Players That Should Have Stayed But Left
2. Aaron Moule (104 Games – 1998-2003) – Moule was the club’s top try scorer in 2001 ( 15 tries - equal with Matt Orford) and 2002 (17 tries), but sensationally walked out on the club at only 25 by claiming he was retiring due to injuries, but in 2004 he went to England to play for Salford (where h...
