Re: Official thread and signing news
Well looks like Tino is gone. Meninga probably got in his ear at the Prime Ministers XIII.
Gold Coast and young men just has career suicide written all over it.

Re: Official thread and signing news
Now apparently Tino has signed a $670k for four years deal with the Warriors. Confirmation yet to come on if it’s immediately or after next season.
What the bloody hell is going on!
I’m not a big fan of him so far but I know everyone else it so how did we let this happen!

Re: Suli
All I know is when Suli wasn’t there, we missed him. He was really good in his last few performances. Watching the Rugby World Cup there’s been a huge shift in the way teams attack and attacking kicks have become a big part of team play. Australia struggled in this area although Marika was their bes...

Re: Alleged player incident
Apparently Vunivalu was king hit in an unprovoked attack. The club owner has come out in defense of Nelson and handed CCTV footage to give people the full story.
I know it may be wrong but I’d find it very difficult to walk away.

Just saw vision of one of our boys overseas. Not the worst but will be in some trouble.

Re: PRELIMINARY FINAL - Roosters vs Storm
Munster just seems to get shut down in these big games. The kicking game was poor, too many 7 tackle sets given away. Kaufusi was a big loss, really could have done with Stimson on the bench. I thought the boys tried really hard though. A little lack of creativity in attack and we were too deep and ...

Re: PRELIMINARY FINAL - Roosters vs Storm
Sandor does have the leaping touchdown but just about everywhere else I’d pick Chambers.

Re: SEMI FINAL - Storm vs Eels
Very impressed with Olam in defense. He’s handled every centre he’s faced including Blake and Leilua the last couple weeks. I don’t think I’ve seen anyone dominate them defensively like Olam has.

Re: QUALIFYING FINAL - Storm vs Raiders
Munster, Olam and JAC were all backing off while Chambers and Suli were rushing. Backing off Leilua isn’t exactly a good idea but we handled him pretty well apart from a couple crucial moments.
The touchy is a dipshit but we should have had the game wrapped up much earlier.

So Ricky Stuart is starting Papali’i on the bench. Obviously likes his chances up against our bench players.

Re: QUALIFYING FINAL - Storm vs Raiders
Honestly I’d rather Canberra in week 1 than week 3. Plus I just don’t think they’re that good.

Really is an x-factor for us. His improvement week to week is incredible. To me he’s a mix of Marika and Marcus.

Re: Round 24 - Sea Eagles vs Storm
Apart from his howler, I thought Suli was good. Great returns from the back. His kick on the fifth which looked like a set move was a surprise. Not convinced Hughes is a better option than Croft but he did do a couple things Brodie wouldn’t have attempted or even executed. Smith was awesome once aga...

Re: Official thread and signing news
I’m not convinced Taylor is actually better than Croft.
Taylor doesn’t seem to have the mental toughness that’s required from a Storm player, halfback and star player
Brodie would be a good pickup for a number of clubs though. All three QLD clubs would probably be top of the list.
