Re: MATAI,SA'U,LIMA,FA'ALOGO CONFIRMED ALLEGIANCE

fair enough.. just posting what i read Yeah not having a go at you :) just find it hilarious that whoever wrote this article clearly hasn't done their homework. Besides, If Junior can put together a set of good games in the lead up to test selection, there's a good chance he'll find himself in a bl...

Re: MATAI,SA'U,LIMA,FA'ALOGO CONFIRMED ALLEGIANCE

LOL Sa'u has not confirmed his allegiance to Samoa. He's put himself in contention for a kiwis jersey and even stated so in an article in the lead up to our game last week.

Everybody relax. It's all under control :) He'll be here for at least the remainder of his current contract.

Re: Round 4 - Brisbane vs Melbourne Fri 29/03 7:05pm at Sunc

I think we were watching different games. Chambers was defending on the line, as in the heldup try. Meanwhile Duffie was two plays and 20m away because he'd come infield off his wing and then tried to jam up on the ball runner. Every time they went down that edge his wing was exposed. Chambers shou...

Re: Round 4 - Brisbane vs Melbourne Fri 29/03 7:05pm at Sunc

People criticising Duffie for his defence last night are way too harsh. Whilst 4 of Brisbane's were scored down his edge, it was not Duffie that allowed this too happen He stuck to our defensve gameplan and only had to jam in on numerous occasions because Chambers made terrible reads and allowed him...

Re: Round 4 - Brisbane vs Melbourne Fri 29/03 7:05pm at Sunc

Chambers owes Duffie a few beers after that defensive effort. His reads were terrible and left Duffie isolated on too many occasions. 3 tries can be directly attributed to Chambers's poor decision making and his lack of faith in his inside defenders. However in saying that, our sliding defence wasn'...

Re: JOE PICKER

You can never have enough depth. What makes us so special is the fact that we perfect everything down to the slightest bit of detail and this is no different. Look what happened with Fa'aoso last year, after a few injuries and suspensions he found himself walking away with a premiership ring. Whoeve...

Re: JOE PICKER

He's got a lot of talent but under Furner he hasn't been able to harness it. Would be a good pick up. Former Australian Schoolboy who was touted as a future rep star for the Raiders.

Re: Billy Slater Article

If anyone is watching the Tigers, did you see Moltzen deny a try by leading with his feet?

Slater does it and he gets penalised and a rule is introduced to deter players from doing it. But anyone else pulls it off and the refs turn a blind eye.

What a joke!

Re: Matt King Out for 16 Weeks with Broken Arm

What a shame for Kingy Just out of interest. When a player retires mid-season, such as Zappa and possibly Kingy, does that free up salary cap money for a mid-season pick up or do they have to honor the contract? Because it is a player's decision the club does not have to honor the contract, providi...

Proctor is signed until the end of next year. He's keen to stay and like Hoffman, the guy bleeds purple. He should be around for a long time. Hoffman also comes off contract next year and I wouldn't be suprised if he retires, therefore allowing us to have a starting backrow of Proctor and Harris.

Re: Round 4 - Brisbane vs Melbourne Fri 29/03 7:05pm at Sunc

I would be way more concerned with Fonua's defence then Junior's. Junior has some lapses from time to time but he's a solid defender and demonstrated that on Thursday night when he showed the awareness and positioning to shut down a few plays targeted at our edges. Fonua on the other hand is all ove...
