Re: Round 24 - Titans vs Storm
Take the 3 - it was a rubbish tackle - sort of thing that an inch either side can paralyze someone - it's not needed in the game.

Re: Round 23 - Storm vs Eels
I'm a little confused by some of the thoughts that Vete offers more than Kasiano... his post contact metres before injury were leading the team I'm pretty sure, and we know he has a dangerous offload. If he can reign that in and time the offloads, he's extremely dangerous. Vete has potential in a go...

Re: Adam O'Brien to Roosters?
No surprise he'll look to go home - I would have been surprised if he stayed to continue as assistant. If the Siebold to Broncos stories have any basis, then there might be a position at Souths opening up. Penrith also of course, St George allegedly looking at Bennett so if they don't land him, Mary...

Re: Round 23 - Storm vs Eels
Article from Bellamy today about Brandon being in the sore player group on his way back from injury still. No way we run out 1-17 anyway. Also, anyone thought we might have gone down the path of a huge training load, mini pre-season set up like we did in 2012 (I am pretty sure it was 2012), which th...

Re: Round 22 - Storm vs Sharks
It really has felt like a constant media slur campaign aimed at Cam this year - it's strange how hard they've gone at the bloke to be honest, even for Sydney media! I'm not sure if the agenda is to drive him out of the game because they're sick of his success or what it is but the tackle on the week...

Re: Round 22 - Storm vs Sharks
Billy announced his retirement, but this is not a milestone game of any sort... his last game is the milestone (of sorts), we'll be out to make amends for last week. Big game needed, and a rare day game in Melbourne - get around it!

Re: Billy set to announce retirement
I posted this on fb last night - sums up my thoughts on the great man The inevitable end of an era is really upon us. Cronk last year... Billy this year. Hopefully not Cam until at least next (leaving from 3 to 1 in order of greatness). Everyone will remember Billy for the tries scored and electric ...

Re: Official Injury Updates Thread
the tendon runs under the foot, so heel pain can make sense depending on the point of irritation - I just hope not plantar fascia damage.

Re: Munster being chased by Roosters
The Roosters will have cap space - remember they will be losing Cronk who is on 1.2mil or something, so unless others are backended, they have cash to splash in the halves. I personally think he'll stay, if Bellamy had gone, then I would think the opposite. The reports yesterday were that a few Syd ...

Couldn't agree more - and since they launched the review and it went public, they've been rubbish. Makes no sense to me!

Re: Hinchy coming 'home'
I think O'Brien will look for a role elsewhere - he's not going to want to stay assistant forever, and with Bellamy re-signing I think he'll look for options - Penrith are looking to hook Hook (pun intended) - so might get into a race with Ciraldo

Re: Round 20 - Storm vs Raiders
Sam Kasiano hasn't quite had an impact. We should have waited and bought someone else maybe got Woods or another Canterbury offload. Woods???? Really??? He's the most overrated forward in the game. Backs into tacklers, meaning he gets next to no post contact metres, and is lazy at marker in defence...

Re: Round 19 - Warriors vs Storm
... Hughes’ tackle attempt on Maumalo was embarrassing though and deserves a spray from Craig. Not trying to make any excuses for him, but my take on it seemed like he wanted to attack the ball and go for a strip. Was definitely bizzare to see the replay, he went for more the text book shoe-lace ta...

Re: Round 19 - Warriors vs Storm
I don't believe we can carry Brandon and a back on the bench. Smith gives us the versatility of being able to play lock, hooker, second row basically. If we need to shuffle in the backline, we can, with Cam Smith able to shift to the halves and a shuffle in the back 5. I love Hughes, and he's going ...

Re: Storm has the hardest run to the Finals :(
4 games at home though. At the end of the day, if we're going anywhere in the finals, playing the other finals teams has to happen. Time to separate the men from the boys so to speak
