Re: Tom Tom

And Rabs doesn't know the difference between a cowbell and a tom tom!!! I've found generally he just can't help himself having little digs at the Storm, the size of the crowd, the weather, etc. And too bad if he's completely WRONG, he still blurts it out anyway. Take as many cowbells next week as po...

Re: Finals Wk 1: Storm Vs Eels

And whoever has the Cowbell in the Crowd - PLEASE make sure you bring it along to the Prelim final and the Grand Final if we get there. As that Melbourne Hater - Rabbits Warren seems to REALLY hate it. It comes through loud and clear in the TV telecast. (hopefully it plays havoc with his headphones)...

Re: New time for Tigers game...

Grrrrrrr - I'm with you Buzz - this is crap! I have 2 young kids and I was at least hoping that the Olympic Park car park would have cleared a bit in time for our game, so I could park there without having to carry all the stuff kids and babies need, all the way from down near the Swan St Bridge (or...

Re: Storm v Panthers

yeah - fair enough. I was just thinking if you were 6 points up - with only a few minutes to go, why not try a field goal? I think the last golden point game for us was against the Broncos at O.P. - a few seasons ago, not sure which year though. it seems there's a few more field goals kicked this se...

Re: Storm v Panthers

The worrying thing is that Cooper said they don't really practice field goals at training, only when they're mucking around. I would have thought something that can win you a game or ensure you're far enough in front so you can't lose a game doesn't get worked on seriously at training. That was fair...

Re: Advertising campaign starts tonight

The ads were played on the big screen before last weeks game against the Knights. I thought they got a good reaction from the crowd.
I know I've seen 2 of them on the TV so far.

Re: Melbourne Storm v Warriors - Round 1

I've been to nrl.com.au for live updates but it's SOOOO damn slow. Dunno if it's because I'm on dial-up or on a mac or what. I'd rather rely on you all for my updates. Who was doing all the kicking for us? Was it Smith from the right and someone else from the left like last year? And how did Inglis ...

Re: Storm and SEN clsoe to a deal it looks like

Do you know if it was ALL Storm games or just the home games?
At the home games I'll be using the Sports Ears, rather than listening to a call on SEN.

But I agree - it can be only be good for the profile of Storm in Melbourne if they do call the games.

2005 Stormy Storm Night (Presenation Ball) Details

I think being with your wife for the birth of your child would be a very, VERY good reason not to attend a Presentation Ball .... and who knows, if it's not the reason, there could plenty of other reasons why. I'd expect ALL fathers to be, would do the same thing in that position. Thanks for the inf...

2005 Stormy Storm Night (Presenation Ball) Details

Does anyone have ALL the facts why Scott Hill wasn't there? It may have been that he had a very reasonable excuse as to why he wasn't there. I was also wondering if Dennis Scott was there? I didn't make a point of looking for each individual player, but I didn't see him. Anyway - I thought the food,...
