Re: Round 2 - Storm vs Warriors @ AAMI Park
Warriors 66% completion rate in the first half flattered us We were shot whereas the Warriors were shot out of cannons in the second half. Needing three in every tackle when the big boppers are hurtling in to our line inevitably opens up the line with some passes. All our backs put their hands up in...

Re: Round 1 vs Panthers @ AAMI Park
I think something which has also been understated in this performance was the post contact metres. Didn’t do too well in that category last year but to have 646 metres (which was the most over the weekend) and considering the strength of opposition with all that defence which had to be done - that’...

Re: Round 1 vs Panthers @ AAMI Park
King didn't play like the number on his back, in fact, I don't think his role changed at all
Great win, GREAT

Re: Round 1 vs Panthers @ AAMI Park
Bold of you to think Penrith will be called for blocking the ruck 🙄 The irony being that the only call for that was against us. The Panthers had a try disallowed for blocking Hughes... (I didn't think there was much in it but hey, I'll take it) There certainly were other occasions but a Craig Bella...

Re: Official thread and signing news
Club must see plenty more than what we do.
I'll admit freely to knowing nothing other than the sentimental factor

Re: Round 1 vs Panthers @ AAMI Park
Watching Munster in his press conference today it doesn’t look good, he clarified it’s a groin issue he has not a calf problem, he did some work at training today but stated if he isn’t able to perform at 80% or better in training tomorrow he will pull the pin for this week and Pez will take over t...

Re: Trials 2024
One thing that hasn't changed is our fella's left laying on the ground after the tackle and not getting back in to the line. King again

As if they're not in talks already!Stormhunter wrote: ↑Wed Feb 07, 2024 8:44 pm Harry can start negotiating with other clubs come November so this will help the cause. The right time and choice though regardless.

Re: Leadership group
Jarome is VC on the field when Welch is not there and commands respect. Does he though? Can he rein in a petulant Munster? Can he cool a hothead Reimis? Can he bark at a Nelson to put his nose through the line? Can he nurse a Warbrick? Everyone is very different, a captain needs to be so many thing...

Re: Official thread and signing news
Talking about wingers, I really think our outside men are made to look and react as they do by the people inside them. (Anyone ever tried being a winger and having to rely on those inside them? FB is much easier with a roving commission - so long as you can tackle...)

Re: Official thread and signing news
Seems the Olam - Blore swap is a done deal, Fox are reporting it’s close to being wrapped up, I like it a lot Olam is past it as we all know and Blore is a hungry young beast who can form a lethal back row combination with Katoa moving forward, no more Loiero hopefully 🤞 As much as I agree with you...
