Re: QUALIFYING FINAL - Storm vs Rabbitohs
Nothing to say except I’m so proud of the Storm.
That was full of heart. So much heart.

Re: QUALIFYING FINAL - Storm vs Rabbitohs
Our forwards have been great the last few weeks I’m not sure what games you guys have been watching Vs Parramatta J.Bromwich - 172 metres & 28 tackles Welch - 95 metres & 29 tackles Kaufusi - 111 metres & 33 tackles Stimson - 110 metres & 36 tackles Finucane - 157 metres & 27 ta...

Re: Round 22 - Storm vs Sharks
I don’t think I’ve ever been more furious or upset after a game.
That was the most insipid, immature performance I’ve seen from the Storm.
Missing 42 tackles is inexcusable and kicking away valuable possession early in the tackle count is cardinal sin.
Very angry.

Re: Round 16 - Roosters vs Storm
Yep, tough period coming up... I don’t see it easing up though after a month or so. Given our patchy year to date, there is no such thing as a ‘gimme’ in 2018 and we will need to be ‘on’ for each and every game. R16 Away vs Roosters - Friday 29 June, 7.50pm - Adelaide Oval R17 Home vs Dragons - Thu...

Re: 2014 Official thread and signing news
Whispers we are interested in picking up Blake Austin for 2019. I don’t see it happening personally. He has a big family and such a significant move would be very difficult. And as much as I am an Austin fan (as I have detailed in here previously), he is in the same mould as Cameron Munster (though...

Re: Round 12 - Cowboys vs Storm
This. Hughes has a great football brain. I really liked some of the kicking options he came up with and he threatens the line a lot.SunshineCoastStormer wrote:
A bit left field but I would try Jahrome Hughes at 7 - he plays 6 for the SC Falcons and can organise and kick well. Would certainly give the team more balance...

Anyone have any inside gossip on this? Bennett on the record has said he doesn’t want to coach in the UK.

Re: Round 11 - Storm vs Sea Eagles
I don't mind it being a send-off offence (I mean "won't somebody please think of the children???") and I personally don't think either Curtis or Api were worse than each other but I think they both deserved the same punishment. Yes you're right that the issue of the sin bin timing should ...

Re: Round 10 - Storm vs Titans
Impressive game from Nelson Asofa-Solomona. The big fella ran for 172 metres and made 20 tackles with only one miss. I felt the Storm played really old school in the first 30 or so. They really tried to keep it between the front seven and were a bit too conservative. It almost felt like they were to...

Re: Round 10 - Storm vs Titans
Does anyone know much about the five-eighth the Titans have named? Alexander Brimson. Bryce Cartwright back to the bench too. He’s copped a lot of criticism for his play lately - particularly his defence which would have been a good target for Chambers, Kaufusi and Vuninvalu. Konrad Hurrell’s also b...

Re: Round 9 - Dragons vs Storm
I think the Storm might have them in terms of the benches. The Dragons have named a utility back and a rookie hooker on theirs - Storm have four forwards.

Re: Munster told to Pull His Head In!
I can see an interesting time ahead when Munster and Ponga battle it out for the QLD fullback jumper. Both very exciting young talents. Part of me does feel bad for Munster. As in he may not get to play his best/favoured position in various teams due to his versatility. His rep team position is no ...

Re: Round 8 - Storm vs Warriors - ANZAC DAY
I think Christian Welch is a future Storm captain. You're not alone in thinking that. There's definitely something about him. The attack is definitely firing on all cylinders now. The Storm scored just one try in two games between weeks four and five. Between weeks seven and eight they've scored 14...

Re: Cam Smith - 356 Games
He is an Immortal, absolutely, but, how great would he have been if he'd played at the Eels, or Titans, or any struggling side? I have always wondered this point. Would he have lifted a side, any side or has he always been a great because of the great TEAM around him? And of course it is the (Melbo...
