We need a new goal kicker ASAP
Cam’s time as our first choice goal kicker should come to an end. Currently in his ninth year as our first choice kicker (since 2006), he just isn’t kicking them like he did years ago. Seriously, 2/8 in the last two weeks is simply unacceptable, it cost us the game last week (and countless other gam...

Re: Round 19 vs Canberra Raiders
If Marika isn't playing (unless he's injured) this week, then Bellyache is starting to lose it as a coach. He was one of our best for us last week in only his first game since R1 when he was still at Balmain Wests Tigpies.

Re: Round 19 vs Canberra Raiders
If we lose this game it is pretty likely it is going to be season over and the boys may as well think about what Mad Monday costume to wear after Round 26. If we can’t beat lowly Canberra, Bellyache needs to think long and hard about: 1. Changing his game plan: It doesn’t work anymore, the rule chan...

R18 - Melbourne vs Canterbury-Bankstown
I really hope we get our act together this weekend as Canterbury are most likely to completely wipe us off the park if we don't. Last two times we've played the Bulldogs we have been nothing short of disgraceful. On game day I hope to see this: 1. Slater (should back up from Origin) 2. Robinson (ple...

Re: Ben Roberts
We signed journeyman Blake Green from England (previously played for Parramatta, Cronulla and Canterbury in the NRL) to most likely be first choice five-eighth next year so it doesn't surprise me. It's a shame Ben is leaving as he has really put his critics in their place this year with some pretty ...

Re: Your honest opinion...
My honest opinion is that we suck  . Anyway getting to the point, I seriously think the current squad is on par with Muppet's 2002 squad. If people say we aren’t in a rebuilding phase they are kidding themselves. Half the problem was that after 2010, the club pretty much wanted to win a quick p...

Re: Ben Hampton signs with Cronulla
While I really wanted him to be our first choice five-eighth for the long term, I really think all the bagging of Ben Hampton has been uncalled for. Let’s face it, his teammates have not helped him out. Cross field kicks on the last tackle inside the opposition 20m, where are the wingers??? All out ...

Re: Rd 16 v St George Illawarra Dragons
What more can I say about this team at the moment other than this is simply Jekyll & Hyde. After such a good win against a decent team in Parramatta, we put in that crap against St. George. Extremely disappointing effort for pretty much everyone. Examples: Silly last tackle kicks by Cam inside t...

Todd Carney To The Storm???
I know some might find this article a bit of a joke - but since Todd Carney has been sacked from Cronulla, and we need a five-eighth, and Bellyache is known to not take any crap from players and arguably is the strictest coach in the game, could this be a possibility to sign him up for next year? Ma...

Cam only needs five more conversion attempts to reach 1000 (currently his goalkicking is at 722/995).

How To Make Home Games Great Again
Something has happened to the quality of home games that has made me really concerned about the way the game is heading as a whole. I know the NRL is a billion dollar industry now, but that doesn’t excuse the fake and corporatized nature of the game now which makes it resemble American sport (which ...

Re: Marika Koroibete
Here’s the current state of our outside backs at the moment: Matt Duffie – Out for the year and off contract, unlikely to see him in a Storm jersey again. Justin O’Neill – Currently injured and is always injury prone, did bugger all when he did play this year. Sisa Waqa – Is carrying an injury and h...

Re: Round 11 - Melbourne v North Queensland
That was one of (if not) the worst ever games of football I have ever seen. Where was the attack?????? I seriously don’t know how many times we were in the Cowboys 20, but at no point tonight did we even look like remotely scoring once. Cam showed why he is a future immortal as he tried his guts out...

Maybe signing Benji wasn't a bad idea after all. Too bad we can't do that now.

Not As Bad As First Thought
I know it’s a setback we have lost Coops for a couple of months (and to a lesser extent Billy and Cam for the next couple of weeks), but this might be a positive for the club. For too long we have relied on them far too much and this might be the wake up the rest of the team needs to step out of the...
