Re: Storm vs Bulldogs Rd 16
Does anyone know if the storm are holding an open training session in mackay? I heard rumors there is an open training session on Saturday. I think it is just the Bulldogs running an open training session, the Storm are hosting a dinner on Saturday night. [ Post made via iPad ] http://www.thebaista...

Re: Storm vs Bulldogs Rd 16
I realise that he will slip in at hooker throughout the match but I've got to say it looks weird to see Cam Smith in a number other than 9.
I feel like I need to turn the team list upside down.

I've just seen a comment on the Bulldogs supporters forum that tickets for this match may be available next week, possibly Wednesday, but still seeking official confirmation.

Fair enough to explain the jersey but the shorts? Surely they could have kept their original shorts ... skin coloured shorts should never be seen on a football field!Cherry_Poppins wrote:We done this for a good cause, fken ugly though

Re: Hayne better than JT
LOL so that makes it 5 hookers and no halves? Not ideal when attempting to set up attacking plays.Cherry_Poppins wrote:Hodkinson is a born hooker, awesome defense
Shitty halfback though,absolutely shitty
Yet Hodkinson is better than the other 4 at doing so but he's out injured for another 2 weeks at least.

Okay lets just get this in the right location first. Now I have no idea what they were thinking with those strips but the moment I saw them run out I felt compelled to quote the Simpsons, looks like they're "wearing nothing at all, nothing at all, nothing at all" Kind of gross when you thi...

Re: Australian Team
What drugs are the Australian selectors on? Seriously! Why do they persist with picking Hodges, Gallen & Watmough, there are way better players than these clowns! Given the performance of the selectors I'm surprised they didn't pick Gidley. FMD! I havent seen enough of Hodges or Watmough this y...

Fantastic news for me I live in mackay!! About bloody time we get a game in our pissant little sad excuss of a stadium I'm glad some people are pleased with this decision, because now a certain Victorian Qlder I know wants to make a 16 hour round trip to Mackay and back, I think I would just rather...

Re: Venga Bus - Expressions of Interest
Given the wonderful assistance of the NRL, this particular trip won't be going ahead. I'll have a look around for other options. :-( [ Post made via Android ] http://www.thebaistand.com/images/mobile/Android.png While the NRL never provide anything in the way of assistance and are to blame for most...

Re: Izzy - Did the Storm Create a Monster Sell-Out???
I'm not sure what I find more amusing: a) the time mattstormy took to put all that together and his attempt and relate it to the Storm, if the Storm didn't recruit him as a teen somebody else would have and he would have still left for the money b) roberttuz's reply, given the usual style of threads...

Re: Ferral Fans
Intentional contact with the head should be an immediate send off Should be but it's always been hard to determine intent on the field of play and refs will always err on the side of caution especially in grand finals. However this thread was about feral fans not feral players ... don't worry wigan...
