Re: 2014 Official thread and signing news

Bellamy did bring in Crocker though and he ended up being a huge part of our team. Mick Crocker ! That hit on Snake Stewart , as he sat under a bomb, just after half time in the 07 GF will live long in my memory. Re Carter, I am very confident Craig will make the right choice and Madge will not give...

Re: Queensland Cup 2016

According to QRL website, Nicholls, White, Tualau and Stimson all played ( so some potential options to replace McLean and Harris), as well as Tumusa, Scott and Griffin, but not Kennar. Good win to Easts.

Re: Round 17 vs Broncos

I am very pleased to see Dale Finucane not charged for the raised arm when taking the first hit up of the second half. Not much in it, but glad he does not have to sweat over that. With McLean and Harris likely out for the next few weeks, we could ill afford to lose Finucane as well. Presumably Matt...

Re: Round 17 vs Broncos

I hope this is not a silly question. How easy is it for a player at right centre to switch to left centre, and vice versa? At left centre obviously you are receiving from the right and passing to the left. I am no rugby league player, but as a predominantly left handed person I would find it a lot e...

Re: Injury Reports

Matt White has been named in our team, and Craig spoke highly of him at training this morning ( video on the Storm website), so with Green still out it looks like a straight swap Matt for NAS.

Re: Injury Reports

That is a real bummer for Nelson and for us. Let us hope Blake Green is back this week, so Tohu can move to second row and Felise to strengthen the bench. If not, Nichols or White will need to come in. It is very important that Nelson is back for the finals - we need the big fella.

Re: 2016: Holden Cup, U18 and U16s.

That is a great win against a top 4 team, and good for the morale of the boys .

Re: Round 16 - Storm vs Tigers

I agree that Cheyse Blair has been really good for us, and that alas he had a shocker tonight. If Munster is fit next week ( please !!) then I would move Young to left Centre . It is an indictment on the rest of the team that both Smith and Cronk had to dig deep and steady the ship at the end, when ...

Re: Round 16 - Storm vs Tigers

JAC has been dropped for Jordan Rankin. Unsurprising given recent form. They would have been concerned Suli would have run straight over him.

Well done Slade on your first game in 3 years. A triumph for your perseverance, which says a lot about your strength of character. Great effort, young man.

Re: 2014 Official thread and signing news

Am I the only one who thinks Brodie Croft should be the 5/8 succession plan? No you are not, Matt. I am with you on that. I am sure the Storm recruiters envisaged that the long term combination is Croft and Drinkwater. Brodie looks good enough to step in from round 1 next year if required, with Sco...

Re: Round 15 - Storm vs Dragons

Full strength we would have won by 30 points!! Never really had a chance, but not embarassed, under the circumstances hard to be too upset at the result, great to see Croft play well and Suli gets another double!! No more Origin affected games as we get the bye for game 3 so now we can focus on an ...
