2015 Fixture - Canterbury Game @ Belmore

I was just looking at the 2015 fixture and couldn't believe that the Storm are playing at Belmore against Canterbury on Monday 29 June (R16). It is going to be the first time in 17 years that an NRL game is going to be played at the Bulldogs' traditional home and an interesting fact - we were also t...

George Rose

What is happening with him? There has been no news on him signing a new contract with the Storm or him leaving to another club. Has he retired? Not that it really matters to the team for next year as he literally made no impact at all for the club - just wondering where he's going to be next year. H...

Re: Players who never played

Marc Brentnall (who was with us for a number of years in the squad) was actually a chance to take over from Matt Orford as first choice halfback for the start of 2006. Then the club chose Coops and the rest is history.

Storm D - ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!

I know this topic has been flogged like a dead horse for the last couple of years on this forum, but simply put - ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!! Storm D is the second worst thing to happen to the club since 1998 (we all know what the first is) and it simply has to go. Please Melbourne RLFC, get rid of Storm D ...

Re: Round 23 - Storm vs Sharks

I know it is a few games to go and anything can happen. But I can feel a Storm/Warriors game the first week of the finals. I seriously hope it's not. If this is the case and it's at AAMI Park, I definitely won't be going (and I don't give a damn if I'm going to miss a possible home final) as I offi...

Ben Hampton Re-Signs With Melbourne For Two Years

http://www.nrl.com/hampton-re-signs-with-storm/tabid/10874/newsid/80645/default.aspx I guess all the critics are going to have to put up with this decision by the club, however I don't know how it's going to work out. Sure Ben's a great talent and has the potential to become a star, but here's a cou...

I don't know what's happened to him, Corey Parker used to be one of the most reliable goal kickers.

Re: We need a new goal kicker ASAP

While I'm glad Cam had a good night with the boot last night, I hope this incosistency of good weeks and shockers doesn't continue at this time of year. Please focus on practicing at training Cam, otherwise this year needs to be your last as our designated goal kicker.

Re: Ex-Storm player milestones

Former Storm lock and NRL journeyman Todd Lowrie played his 200th NRL game playing for Brisbane last night against the Storm (he played most of his games for us and won the 2012 Premiership aswell).

Goodbye Sisa, you will be always known as a key player in the 2012 Premiership.

Re: We need a new goal kicker ASAP

Here’s a list of all our first choice goal kickers for years gone by (stats according to the Rugby League Tables and Stats website): 1998 – Craig Smith (Winger) – He was a very good left footer and was very good at high pressure goals and if he had a longer career he could have boosted his percentag...

Re: We need a new goal kicker ASAP

I just remembered it also cost us the semi final last year aswell. Both teams scored three tries, the only difference was Cam kicked 2/3 and Tyrone Roberts for Newcastle kicked 3/3. Pretty easy to work out how we lost that game.

Re: Garbutt to Broncos

According to Zero Tackle, Melbourne has eight more players left unsigned. Here’s how I think they’ll end up: Matt Duffie – Definitely shouldn’t be back and I’ll be shocked if the club decides to renew his contract. Way too injury prone and his last contract shouldn’t have been for so long. Don’t kno...

R20 - Brisbane vs Melbourne

Hopefully the final team line-up looks like this next Friday night in Brisbane: 1. Slater 2. Koriobete 3. Chambers 4. Mann (should come back into the side) 5. Waqa 6. Roberts 7. Cronk 8. J. Bromwich 9. Smith (C) 10. McLean (needs to start in the front row, not lock) 11. Proctor 12. Hoffman 13. Hinch...
