Re: Preliminary Final vs Panthers @ Accor Stadium
Just wish the game had been refereed fairly.
We were never going to win, not with all those mistakes. But seriously, some of the things that we've been penalised for and the panthers have got away with are just bulls*it.

Re: Preliminary Final vs Panthers @ Accor Stadium
Panthers were good.
But Storm's stupid mistakes stopped it being a contest.
Pretty damn disappointing from our guys.

Re: Preliminary Final vs Panthers @ Accor Stadium
I can't beleive how depressing it is to have so little faith that the team will be successful on Friday. I 've followed Storm since the first game at the Graveyard and can't remeber ever being so depressed before a game . I'm thinking the the best outcome will be if we are at least competitive. Oh ...

Look at out first choice fullbacks over Storm's entire history;Papenhuyzen23 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 15, 2023 11:43 pm ...maybe we’ve been treated to freaks in the 1 jumper for too long ...
Robbie Ross
Billy Slater
Ryan Papenhuyzen
Throw in Munster, Hughes and Nicho at various times, and I think it's fair to say we've been spoiled.

Re: Finals Week 1 vs Broncos - 2nd Qualifying Final - Suncorp Stadium
Just a thought. In 1999 we won 16 of 24 games. We finished third. We lost the Qualifying final to St George and were well beaten. I don't think any of us thought we were a chance after getting towelled up at OP. Storm then went on to win the next two finals and the Grand Final. So maybe, just maybe,...

The only one of our forwards with over 100 m was Nelson.

Re: Finals Week 1 vs Broncos - 2nd Qualifying Final - Suncorp Stadium
Ok, to be fair we as Storm fans have been spoiled. We've missed the finals 3 times in 25 years - an absolutely spectacular run. We have nothing to complain about. I'm absolutely greatful. But f*ck that was disappointing! Yep. This is true. We've been very lucky to see our team play so many finals o...

Re: Finals Week 1 vs Broncos - 2nd Qualifying Final - Suncorp Stadium
Dreadful. Upside is Broncos can't win the comp - they weren't good, we were terrible. Grant - spent too much time trying to grub it up and not enough time trying to play footy. Hughes - didn't look fit, not his best game. Munster - is he the new Dane Gagai? Superstar in origin, average in club games...
