MacDougal joins storm
Sorry mate, but there is no way he is in our best 17 if we have a full side to pick from... tell me who he gets in ahead of!!!! Not even close, for mine he would struggle to be in our full time squad of 25 All I am saying is give him a chance to prove himself at the Storm before calling him shit or...

Please forgive me, but I am not prepared to slag off at MacDougall just yet. Sure it is disappoiting (if true) that we are losing Langi, but despite his jaded past, MacDougall can certainly play and will be hoping that he can reproduce it in Melbourne. He certainly faces a tough task to even get a g...

Possible Upgrade to Olympic Park
Personally, I would love to see Melbourne have a Super 12 team as I love the game and am sure it would be a hit in Melbourne. However, it would mean the end for the Storm, I'm almost certain of that. So unless a Roman Abromavich comes along and buys out the Storm and pumps millions into it, I can't ...

Re: Junior Langi moves?
On the League Unlimited forums someone mentioned that the Eels have signed Junior Langi. Can anyone confirm? Wouldn't surprise me to see him gone actually. I don't think Bellamy rates him much as he didn't give him a single game last year even after returning from injury. We also have an abundance ...

Ribot wants to re sign four key storm members
The NRL needs to get rid of the stupid June 30 deadline all together, and leave all the haggling till after the season ends. Exactly right, once again, the NRL should take a leaf out of the AFL's book here and leave all that crap til after the season. The way the AFL does it isn't perfect, but it k...

tour thief an 'outcast'
I cant beleive a player would do such a thing, dont they earn enough money! Obviously not, which in turn may provide a clue to who it was. My guess is it was a younger, lower profile player with no real outside commitments where he would be earning money from. Hopefully the guilty party is booted o...

And the third week too!! I have no problem with Sydney having the GF, but Preliminary finals should be home finals as well!!Fampa wrote:I'd like to see home finals for the first and second week of the finals. It gives the clubs and the fans a bit of a reward for support and hard work all season.

Definitely should use the AFL finals system, and have finals outside of Sydney too!! I seem to recall reading that the reason there are no finals outside of Sydney after week 1 is due to contractual arrangements that are due to expire in either 2004 or 2005. I see, well let's not renew that contrac...

There is no need to make yourself sick on the club's behalf, I wouldn't wish VB onto my worst of enemies!! Stick to Carlton Draught or Crownie's if you have to drink CUB productsNZ Storm wrote: Guess I'll have to force myself to drink more VB to help the club out

Hilarious to me that rugby league supporters find AFL boring, when rugby league would have to be one of the most stop-start games and very much an acquired taste. I didn't used to like league at all, but gave it a good go and love it now. Maybe you AFL baggers should do the same with AFL, millions o...

Storm's 2004 Fixture
Tough start to the season, tough end to it. Hopefully we can play some good rugby in the middle of the year and continue that on through the finals series. Impartial to that fixture, not delighted, not unhappy with it.

...there must be some avid Aussie Rules fans out there! I live in Melbourne and AFL (the Kangaroos) is my no. 1 priority which means I don't see as much of the Storm as I would like (the fact that I don't have Foxtel and Channel 9 being morons also contributes to this). Anyone else follow the AFL, a...
